"Brax and Ricky set to return to Summer Bay in 2026 as part of special episodes
Home and Away favourites Stephen Peacocke and Bonnie Sveen will reprise their roles as Brax and Ricky in 2026 for special episodes filmed in Western Australia.
Two of Summer Bay?s most loved residents are set to return, with Stephen Peacocke (Darryl ?Brax? Braxton) and Bonnie Sveen (Erica ?Ricky? Sharpe) reprising their roles in 2026 for a Home and Away storyline filmed in Western Australia.
The two shared a passionate on-screen romance, with Ricky eventually becoming the love of Brax?s life.
Their relationship was central to many of the show?s most memorable storylines, and fans have long hoped to see the pair reunited since they left Summer Bay 10 years ago.
In partnership with Tourism Western Australia, the new episodes will explore where Brax and Ricky?s lives have taken them since 2016, with the story set against WA?s distinctive outback.
Both Peacocke and Sveen are award-winning actors, with Peacocke winning four Logies during his time on Home and Away and has since appeared in RFDS, The Newsreader, Five Bedrooms, and Wanted.
Sveen won the 2014 Logie for Most Popular New Talent and has worked on shows including Rosehaven, The Secret Daughter, and Netflix?s Escape and Evasion.
Seven?s Director of Content, Julie McGauran, said it was ?a real pleasure to welcome Steve and Bonnie back. Fans will get to see how Brax and Ricky?s lives have changed, with plenty of surprises along the way.?
Peacocke reflected on his time with the show, saying he was ?always grateful to Home and Away for launching my career,? and added that filming in Western Australia ?was the icing on the cake.?
Sveen said she ?never expected to bring Ricky back,? but was excited to explore where the characters are a decade later, calling it ?a very special and compelling storyline.?
The episodes are set to air in 2026, offering a new setting while keeping Palm Beach as the show?s home base."
