Ravi Gulati is a man under pressure

He's trying to rebuild the Panesar business empire after ex-employee, Bernadette Taylor stole ?23,000 from the business accounts and fled from Albert Square!

There's more bad news for Ravi when his drug dealing associate, Okie, reports the Police have raided their base.

So now, Ravi wants their whole drug dealing operation moved into unsuspecting Kojo Asare's flat...

Will Kojo's best mate, Harry Mitchell put his foot down to protect Kojo?

Meanwhile, things unexpectedly heat-up again between Ravi and his baby mama, Priya Nandra-Hart

The on/off couple agree to give their previous relationship another go.

But will Ravi and Priya's reunion be jeopardised by his ongoing illegal dealings?

Nigel Bates his wife Julie and her three pet chickens arrive in Albert Square.

Ready to move in with Nigel's long-time mate Phil Mitchell at 55 Victoria Road.

However, Phil is so used to being the King of his own castle, that it's not long before he and Julie start to clash over the new dynamic in his household.

Phil accuses Julie of changing Nigel's daily routine which leads to conflict between them...

Tuesday

It's Kojo Asare's birthday

Kojo's flatmate, Harry Mitchell is tasked with keeping him occupied while the Knight family plan a party at the Vic.

Harry is under continued pressure from Ravi Gulati to let drug dealer Okie use unsuspecting Kojo's flat as a permanent base for his and Ravi's illegal dealings...

Kojo is excited when big brother George plans to take him out for the day to celebrate his birthday.

But when George gets sidetracked, Kojo heads home where he finds his so-called "friend" Okie and his acquaintances have taken over the flat...

Okie tries to get the situation under control by offering Kojo a pill that will calm him down.

But Kojo quickly falls into a terrible state...


Phil Mitchell is at odds with Julie Haye.

Julie and Phil continue to clash over what's best for her husband Nigel who has dementia.

After Julie's pet chickens keep the household awake, the tension increases between her and Phil.

They both accompany Nigel to a medical appointment for an assessment of his dementia.

But he soon starts to get stressed out and overwhelmed by their continuous sniping...

Nicola Mitchell is struggling with her emotions on the anniversary of her dad's death.

But she gets support from George, who had his own difficult relationship with his racist adopted dad, Eddie.

During the emotion of the moment, Nicola and George find themselves giving into passion again...


Wednesday

George Knight fears the worst for his brother, Kojo

George finds Kojo in a terrible state at home on his birthday.

He's unaware that Kojo's so-called "friend", drug dealer Okie gave him a pill that didn't have the desired effect...

It's not long before copper Jack Branning arrives on the scene.

George is alarmed when Jack warns him that Kojo will be ARRESTED after taking illegal drugs!

George is furious and remains convinced that it was Kojo's flatmate Harry Mitchell who gave him the drugs.

Harry had better watch out as George goes on the warpath...

Howie Danes is angry when he finds Oscar Branning playing dominoes with Patrick Trueman at No.20.

Howie reels when cheeky Oscar accepts an invitation to attend Patrick's stag do.

Patrick remains unaware that teenager Oscar accidentally attacked him when he broke into the house to steal his and Howie's ?6,000 racing bet winnings.

However, Howie has since blackmailed both Oscar and his sister Lauren to hand back the cash.

Or he'll report Oscar to the Police.

But none of Howie's family know what he has done.

Will Howie convince Oscar to stay away from Patrick's pre-wedding celebrations, to prevent the truth from coming out?


Thursday

It's time for Patrick Trueman and his fiancee Yolande's stag and hen celebrations

Everyone is in the party spirit!

The men get together at Patrick's place for some Poker playing.

However, Jack Branning remains in copper mode and curious about the connection between Howie Danes and his own nephew, Oscar Branning

Jacks wants to know more after witnessing a heated exchange between Howie and the teenager.

Later, tensions boil over leading to another confrontation between Howie and Oscar over what happened on the night that Patrick was attacked...

Over at Harry's Barn, Yolande and her gal pals get into the party spirit.

That is until an uninvited guest arrives in the shape of Julie Hayes's escaped pet cockerel!

Harry Mitchell is horrified by the terrible turn of events involving Kojo Asare and drug dealer, Okie.

However, garage mechanic Harry finds himself under pressure from Ravi Gulati

Ravi wants Harry to win back Kojo's trust so that he can keep using Kojo's flat as a base for his illegal dealings.

But Harry does not get a warm welcome when he attempts to make amends with Kojo.

As Kojo's big brother George remains convinced that Harry is responsible for the illegal drugs that innocent Kojo took...

EastEnders' Kojo Asare is dragged into Harry Mitchell and Ravi Gulati's criminal world next week and ends up accidentally taking drugs.

George Knight is horrified to discover what his innocent little brother has got mixed up in, and vows to protect him from Harry's bad influence. Does Kojo realise the danger he's in?

Oblivious Kojo has no idea Ravi's dodgy associate Okie is using his flat as a base for their drug-dealing operation.

After Okie came to Kojo and Elaine Knight's rescue when they were intimidated by a gang of lads, trusting Kojo gave him a key to the apartment.

Conflicted Harry genuinely wants to keep Kojo out of trouble and doesn't want him seeing what Okie's up to. With Kojo's birthday coming up, it's a chance to get him out of the flat for a full day of celebrations, which George is also looking forward to.

"George promises to take Kojo out for some bonding time," explains our Walford insider, "and this is a huge relief to Harry as this means Okie won't be disturbed. But when George is distracted by upset Nicola, Kojo gets home earlier than expected, and he walks straight into danger..."

Kojo arrives to find Okie and his dodgy group have taken over his flat. Confused, Kojo asks what's going on and quickly gets anxious about the strangers in his space.

Slippery Okie needs to stop him freaking out in case he exposes his illegal racket, so he gives Kojo a pill.

Okie promises it will calm him down and make him feel less stressed ? and na?ve Kojo takes the drugs. Later, George finds his brother in the Square, and is horrified by the state he's in.

"George immediately rushes to Kojo's aid, and takes his brother to Phil's where he's safe," says our source. "Jack comes to help, but when he discovers that Kojo has taken drugs, he has no choice but to arrest him!"

Fuming George is determined to get to the truth so he confronts Harry, convinced he gave Kojo the drugs. A huge showdown unfolds, one which even involves Nicola Mitchell and Gina Knight.

Believing Harry when he promises to keep him safe, Kojo sends George packing as he decides his loyalties lie with his friend, and not his family. Can George save Kojo before it's too late?

EastEnders' Nigel and Julie Bates return to Walford next week and bring some unexpected mayhem when they turn up with their trio of pet chickens in tow.

With Nigel making it clear that he wants to stay in Albert Square as his dementia worsens, Phil suggested that Julie move in with them to remain close to her husband.

Julie was overjoyed by Phil's offer and said that she would return to Scotland to collect their belongings before she properly moves down south.

Now they are back with three unannounced additions ? and as the whole brood moves into Phil's house, it's not long before Phil confronts Julie for disrupting Nigel's routine.

"The chickens drive Phil clucking mad," says our spy. "They're a noisy bunch of birds, and they keep the whole household awake all night, which makes Phil even more irritated.

"Julie has upended the dynamic in the house, and Phil doesn't think big changes will do his poorly best mate any good."

With Phil in a flap, he and Julie accompany Nigel to an assessment. But their arguing continues, which makes Nigel stressed as he's taking an important test.

The situation escalates as Julie and Phil row over their differing opinions on Nigel's care plan. As they reach boiling point, Phil lashes out and slams Julie with some harsh truths.

"Neither Phil nor Julie can agree who's higher in the pecking order, so he resorts to anger in a hard-to-hear outburst that leaves Julie devastated," our source explains.

"She demands he tell her everything about Nigel's time in Walford ? as far as Phil's concerned, he rules the roost and shouldn't have to be on the same page as her."

Later, confused Nigel accidentally leaves the chicken coop open, resulting in Julie's prize cockerel quite literally crossing the road and escaping.

As the family search for the bold bird, can Phil and Julie make amends, or will they continue to ruffle each other's feathers?
