Emmerdale's April Windsor rekindles her friendship with Dylan Penders next week, after she spots him camping out in the bushes.

While leaving flowers at her beloved mum's grave, April convinces Dylan to emerge from the shrubbery ? where she knows he has been hiding for some time.

"April and Dylan have a special bond," our Emmerdale source reminds us. "So, when Laurel becomes convinced that someone is lurking in the hedges, and April's eye is also caught by something unusual, it's not long before she tries to coax Dylan out.

"At the graveyard, she lays flowers down for Donna, then successfully convinces Dylan to show his face before the pair share an honest chat."

On the graveyard bench, Dylan confides in his friend that he's now clean from drugs, as April feels pleased to have her close pal back in her orbit.

But unbeknownst to April, Dylan is dealing with a nasty injury from a break-in at Butler's Farm, in which Kyle stabbed the teenager with a pitchfork.

And later, when Dylan settles down to sleep at the cricket pavilion, it becomes clear that his wound is still in a bad way.

"Poor Dylan! Given that he was attacked with such a dangerous weapon, you can imagine the extent of the injury," our insider continues. "It's even more concerning that he hasn't sought medical treatment and is sleeping rough while the damage goes untreated.

"Let's just hope that he can either find the help he needs, or that he manages to recover in good time?"

Later in the week, Dylan and April meet for another catch-up and put together plans for a date. When the time comes, Dylan heads into the village to meet April, but quickly retreats when he spots dangerous newcomer Ray in conversation with Moira Dingle. But why does Dylan feel the need to leg it?

Meanwhile, April receives difficult news when Belle Dingle acts on Marlon Dingle's request to revoke his daughter's apprenticeship at Take A Vow.

At The Woolpack, Belle sits down with her young colleague and explains that they can't work together any more ? however, astute April quickly susses out that her meddling dad is behind her boss's change of heart.

Determined, April confronts Marlon and successfully persuades him to change his mind.

But with Dylan back in town, how much time and energy will April invest in her old friend? And can the homeless teenager recover from his brutal stab wound all on his own?

Emmerdale's Moira Dingle is pushed to breaking point next week when her family is threatened ? and she ends up arrested after going on a violent rampage of revenge.

Feeling the pressure to sell Butler's Farm, Moira's temper boils over when her home is invaded by intruders.

Fuelled by fury, she takes her anger out on Joe Tate, leading to her being arrested when she accidentally injures Lydia Dingle?

As the dramatic week begins, the Tates are still determined to get their hands on Moira's land, and they know she's crying out for cash to pay off the hefty fine she incurred for the slurry leak.

Ignoring Joe's confidence that Butler's will soon be part of the Tate empire, Moira stands firm on the fact that her business, and her home, are not for sale ? which she tells Joe in no uncertain terms.

Frustrated Joe later reveals to lover Dawn Fletcher that he has a sneaky plan to make Moira change her mind. And over at Butler's, something sinister is afoot?

"Moira's working and Kyle and Isaac are playing football outside," explains Natalie J Robb, who plays the farmer. "Kyle hears something in the barn, so goes in and sees two guys with balaclavas on. It's quite frightening.

"Kyle grabs the first thing he sees, which is a pitchfork, and these lads start threatening him. He panics and accidentally stabs one of them in the leg with the pitchfork ? then Moira comes in with a shotgun."

Having scared off the scallies and foiled a break-in at the barn, Moira tries to calm her shaken kids as they reel from the unsettling incident.

The mum is maddened to see her sons so upset, and reckons she knows exactly who was behind the whole thing?

"Moira thinks Joe sent the guys to threaten her and she reckons it's a step too far," shares Robb. "Kyle is traumatised because of what happened with him shooting Al in the barn, it brings it all up. So she tells the police she thinks it was Joe. No one threatens her children!"

The cops are soon on the case, but when they can't find enough evidence to pin it on the Tates, sheepish PC Swirling must inform Moira that the boys in blue are dropping the investigation.

This maddens Moira even more, and she decides to confront smug Joe herself. Marching up to Home Farm to have it out with him, she's ready for a fight.

"Moira accuses Joe of putting her children in danger," reveals Robb. "It turns out he was actually nothing to do with the break-in, but he makes a comment that angers Moira and she goes for him."

Lashing out, Moira goes to punch Joe as a warning to stay away from her family. Lydia is up at Home Farm working and tries to defuse the ding-dong, but as she steps in to stop Moira giving Joe a Glasgow kiss, she gets caught in the crossfire herself.

"Lydia jumps in front of Moira and gets accidentally punched in the ear," Natalie explains. "It's quite horrific. Moira is devastated she's done this to Lydia ? this is bound to cause more trouble between the Dingles."

Indeed it does, as Moira later faces the consequences of her aggressive actions when she is arrested for assault.

Not wanting his wife to end up in prison, Cain Dingle collars Lydia and puts pressure on his sister-in-law not to press charges for the accidental attack.

When word gets back to Sam Dingle that Cain has practically threatened Lydia to keep schtum, he's fuming that his sibling has put the frighteners on his wife ? as if Moira whacking her wasn't bad enough.

Cain and Sam are soon at loggerheads over the situation, and when the brothers come face to face in The Woolpack, a tense showdown ensues.

"Cain just makes the whole thing worse," says Natalie. "Moira desperately tries to encourage him to eat humble pie and say sorry to Lydia and Sam so they can sort this out, otherwise this could become a family feud within the Dingles."

Any kind of reconciliation seems unlikely as Cain accuses Sam of siding with the Tates over Moira's moment of madness. He issues a stark ultimatum to Sam to think long and hard about his loyalty to the Dingles, or else he'll be cast out of the clan.

Could Moira's uncontrollable fury end up destroying the Dingles from within?

    Monday

Emmerdale's Moira Dingle goes on the attack

With Moira Dingle close to losing the farm, the vultures are circling.

And one of them is Joe Tate who has been instructed by Kim to get the deal done.

But when Moira tells him where to go, Joe warns her and Cain that he's going to get his hands on the land one way or another.

The adults' conversation scares Kyle and Isaac who need Moira's reassurance that they're not about to lose their home.

It does the trick with the young lads - but not for long.

Left to their own devices at home after Moira heads out, the brothers panic when they hear a noise coming from one of the barns.

When they head out to see what's what, the lads are terrified to come face to face with two masked intruders (one of which, secretly, is April's mate Dylan).

Totally terrified, Kyle grabs a pitchfork and lunges at Dylan, stabbing him. Moira then charges in wielding a shotgun!

Given Joe's earlier warning, Cain assumes the shady Tate is to blame and wants revenge.

But Moira wants to do it by the book and calls the police.

When Pc Swirling later reports there's nothing to go on, Moira takes it upon herself to dole out a punishment to Joe but as she tries to punch the Tate, she ends up hitting her sister-in-law Lydia…

Elsewhere, Sarah and Charity are buzzing with excitement as they head to the fertility clinic for the implantation.

But it's too much for Mack who claims he's needed at work.

It's a lie, of course, but a few choice words from his best mate Aaron sees Mack rush to the clinic to support his wife, who's set to be a surrogate for her granddaughter Sarah.

Will Mack manage a smile when Charity tells him the procedure went well?

Marlon and April are forced to talk about the future. Can April persuade her dad to forget school and let her continue with her apprenticeship at Take A Vow with Belle?

    Tuesday

    Moira Dingle is arrested

The pressure's on up at Butler's for Moira who's arrested following her messy run-in with Joe Tate during which she ended up hitting her sister-in-law Lydia!

It's caused a problem in the family on top of the fact that she's close to losing her farm so emotions are running high.

Later, at the Woolpack, furious Cain rows with Sam about what happened and starts questioning where his brother's loyalty lies.

April reels when she spots her mate Dylan – who she met while she was living on the streets – in the village.

Though Dylan's trying to keep a low profile, he takes time to talk to April, who's thrilled to hear he's clean and sober.

Robert mines Chas for her opinion on John, pushing his theory that his paramedic brother is just too good to be true.

But Chas isn't about to be drawn into badmouthing her new son-in-law and is convinced that Robert's just jealous.

Needing some concrete proof to go on, Robert later spots John's mobile that's been left unattended in the cafe.

Swiping it, the Sugden tries to unlock it so he can have a snoop but doesn't get very far before concerned John comes looking for his device.

Aaron urges Mack to tell his wife Charity how he's feeling about her being a surrogate for her granddaughter.

With Sarah and Jacob fussing round their surrogate, Charity needs some breathing space and sends them out.

Home alone, she vents to her husband Mack. Will he do the same or keep his torment under wraps?

    Wednesday

Cain Dingle's had it with his brother

Sam's been getting chummy with Joe Tate which is a serious no-no for a Dingle.

So Cain fumed when Sam leaped to Joe's defence in the war over Butler's Farm which is on the brink of collapse.

Furious that his own flesh and blood doesn't appear to be supporting Moira's demise, Cain tears into Sam.

But Sam's got beef of his own with his bullish brother, whose irate wife accidentally hit his wife, Lydia, when she was trying to punch ruthless Joe.

Cain then warned Lydia not to go to the police about it – and Sam's far from impressed.

As a bitter feud sparks between the normally close siblings, who will Sam choose when Cain insists he makes his choice between the Dingles and the Tates?

Elsewhere, Dylan and April catch up again and plan a date.

But Dylan ditches the idea when he clocks drug dealer Ray talking to Moira in the village.

Will he explain why to April?

Knowing that Robert is sniffing around trying to dig up dirt on him, secret killer John sets out to turn the tables.

Sneaking into Keepers Cottage, where his suspicious brother lives with their sister Victoria, John conceals a listening device and leaves.

Later, a smug grin spreads across John's face as he earwigs Robert in conversation…

    What has John found out?

    Thursday

    Lewis plays matchmaker

Having become a partner in the cafe, Lewis is changing things, learning the ropes and getting to know the customers.

And when he meets Steph Miligan, he's intrigued to discover she and his brother Ross have a romantic past.

As he sets about building an app, hoping to boost the profits, he's soon got another project on the go: getting Steph and Ross back together!

Will wistful Steph rue the day that she confided in Lewis about her feelings for Ross?

Elsewhere, Ross learns that John's got some dirt on Robert and wonders what's in store. And Cain reels when Moira calls him with news on the recent break in at Butler's.

    Friday

Moira is in a tight spot

Time's running out for Moira Dingle who's got to pay a huge fine to the water board for the slurry leak that found its way into the village water supply.

With the farm on the brink of collapse, she's at a loss and just won't allow herself to sell to the greedy Tates who are itching to get their hands on Butlers.

When fellow farmer Celia comes calling with an altogether different proposition, will Moira give her the time of day?

Given that Celia's landlord, Kim, has raised the rent, the hardnosed farmer wants to stick it to the Tate. What's she got in mind? Are the women about to form an alliance to stop Kim and Joe trying to dominate the landscape?

Over at the cricket pavilion, where Dylan's been bedding down, his injury's getting worse. Will he seek help?

Elsewhere, Lewis tries to get through to Ross and encourages his brother to get on the case with Steph.

Will Ross listen and step up his game to get his girl back in his life?

Meanwhile, things go from bad to worse for Robert in the wake of John's subterfuge.
