Monday

Abi Webster seeks comfort in the arms of Carl

As Abi Webster berates Carl for all the trouble he’s caused, he fights the urge to tell her about Kevin’s fictitious cancer.

But when a strung-out Abi confides in Tyrone that she’s planning to tell Jack that Kevin’s cancer hasn’t responded, it’s Tyrone who assures her that Kevin isn’t going to die.

As Abi confronts Kevin, he tells her how sorry he is, explaining he couldn’t cope with losing her and thought that by lying about his cancer it would stop her from leaving him for Carl.

Asserting that she can’t bear to look at him, an emotional Abi heads out and straight into Carl’s arms. As she declares that she’s done with Kevin, the pair kiss passionately.

Todd and Theo head off to view a flat in town but they’re thwarted when the car breaks down.

Bernie and Aadi mask their unease when Dev reveals that Aunty Rani is coming to the wedding and she’ll want to see her money being put to good use.

With Lily and Sam at Eco Club, Nick and Toyah are pleased to think they’ve buried the hatchet. But as Sam scoffs at Lily’s poster, he tells her that there have been six burglaries in the area and the burglars move the furniture about.

Lily returns home to find the door ajar and when she sees the furniture has been moved she screams in terror.

James is worried as the facilitator arrives for the meeting regarding the Special Guardianship Order. Will Dee-Dee show up?


Wednesday

Theo Silverton loses his cool

Todd grits his teeth and attends the restorative justice session with Noah. With the session over and having listened to enough of Noah’s goading, Todd hurries out.

Realising he forgot his jacket, he goes back to the community centre in time to overhear Noah on the phone to Danielle and is shocked to realise they’re an item.

As Danielle joins Theo Silverton and the kids at the bistro, a seething Todd reveals Danielle’s got a new boyfriend and it happens to be Noah.

Danielle’s mortified whilst Theo reels. Miles rounds on Todd and tries to punch him, but Theo blocks his path and accidentally strikes Miles, sending him sprawling to the ground.

Ed insists the family sit down for breakfast and clear the air. Later, as James looks after Laila, he takes a call and confirms that he’s still very much interested in the job. His bags packed, is James leaving with or without Laila?

Abi paints on a smile for Jack’s sake, while Carl doubles down and tells Abi that she’s doing the right thing by staying with Kevin and it’s best if they keep their distance from now on.

Lisa admits she skipped her therapy and instead visited Becky’s grave as tomorrow would have been their anniversary.

Sam opens up to Toyah about his anxiety and his recent panic attacks.


Friday

Lisa Swain is determined to find out more information about Becky’s death

Lisa is struggling with today being her and Becky's anniversary and, despite Carla and Betsy’s concerns, she insists she is ok and heads off for a therapy session.

Once there, she finally opens up and admits to the therapist Floyd, that she wonders if there was more to Becky’s death than meets the eye and if she was in some way corrupt.

At the police station, Lisa sneaks into DI Costello’s office and searches his email for any reference to Becky Swain. Will she be caught?

Later, a furious Lisa tackles Kit after seeing his name on the computer asking for access to Becky's file. She tells Carla she can no longer work with Kit after he went behind her back. Will Carla reveal what she has been up to?

Meanwhile, Carla secretly visits Logan in prison hoping to extract information about Becky.

Todd pays it down when Billy calls round and sees bedding on the sofa. Explaining that Danielle is now with Noah, Todd tells him that Theo is not allowed to see his kids. Billy advises Todd to try and talk to Danielle but will it work?

Todd summons Danielle to the bistro and implores her to let Theo see his kids, pointing out that he’s a good Dad.

Theo is furious to discover Todd has been letting Billy advise him on how to sort out his problems. Billy calls at No.11 hoping to make amends, but Theo gives him short shrift, making out that Todd’s in the shower.

Later, Todd descends the stairs, oblivious to Theo’s lies.

At No.7, Bernie and Aadi go over the wedding plans, determined to keep the cost down. In the Rovers, Dev asks Aadi if he’ll be his best man but his mood changes when Aunty Rani arrives, earlier than planned.

In the Rovers, Dev fawns over Aunty Rani whilst Bernie adopts a posh accent in a bid to impress her.

When Aunty Rani reveals her plan to create a spreadsheet detailing all the wedding costs so she can keep tabs on the amount she’s spent, Bernie and Aadi hide their dismay.

Dee-Dee rushes off to work leaving Laila in James’s capable hands. Later, Adam introduces Dee-Dee to their new client, Ollie.

Recognising him as the guy who chatted her up in the Rovers, Dee-Dee can’t help but smile.

Coronation Street's Lisa Swain digs for more info about her late wife's dark secret next week ? unaware that her partner Carla Connor is going behind her back to visit Logan Radcliffe and carry out her own investigation.

Her determination to discover if Becky was a corrupt cop causes Lisa to almost lose her job, but if she knew what Carla was up to, could it be curtains for the couple?

"Was Lisa's entire life with Becky a lie?" our Corrie source teases. "Knowing her wife was accused of corruption before she died is something Lisa has never got closure on.

"She needs to know if it's true, and it's becoming an obsession. Whatever Becky did in the past, let's hope it doesn't destroy Lisa's future?"

DS Swain is struggling with her grief, especially with the date of what would've been her and Becky's wedding anniversary looming.

Since Craig Tinker's tragic death in the line of duty, painful memories of Becky's similar fate have haunted Lisa. Her soaring stress levels mean she's been put on lighter duties at work, and encouraged to try counselling.

Lisa reckons it's not therapy she needs, it's hard proof to confirm either way whether Becky was bending the law, or if the corruption claims were a misunderstanding.

Although she was guarded with therapist Floyd at first, Lisa slowly lets the barriers come down and opens up about her feelings. While she wonders if there was more to Becky's demise than meets the eye, Lisa has no idea Carla is gathering information under her own steam?

"Carla is secretly visiting Logan Radcliffe in prison, the man who was driving the car that killed Becky," our insider adds.

"Betsy's already tried to get the criminal to reveal what else he knows about her dead mum after learning anti-corruption were on her case, but will Logan be any more cooperative with Carla?"

Oblivious to Carla's deceit, Lisa continues her crusade for the truth. Her previous attempt to read Becky's police file was foiled when she couldn't gain access, so she takes a risky new approach.

At the police station, Lisa checks the coast is clear, sneaks into her boss DI Costello's office, and hacks into his emails.

She's hoping to unearth something solid on Becky's anti-corruption case, but if she's caught by Costello there would be serious consequences?

Later, when Carla is home from her sneaky visit, Lisa confides in her other half that she tried searching through Costello's emails in her quest to solve the Becky mystery ? and it turns out someone else has had the same idea.

"Kit has also requested access to Becky's files," our source warns.

"Lisa saw his name on the system when she was doing her digging, and she's fuming that her colleague has poked his nose into her past without asking. Little does she know her girlfriend's done exactly the same thing."

Will Carla confess that she saw Logan, and divulge the details of their meeting? And what exactly did Becky have to hide?

Coronation Street's Abi Webster declares that her marriage to Kevin is over next week, before she runs into Carl's open arms. But will they be brave enough to give their romance a proper shot?

Having uncovered Kev's cancer lie, furious Abi tracks down Carl and insists that she's done with her husband, and the forbidden pair waste no time at all before they passionately lock lips.

"It's the moment Carl's been waiting for," our Corrie insider points out. "In the garage, the pair grab each other and finally give into their magnetic attraction.

"Although, let's be clear that Carl isn't the one to expose Kev's secret. Earlier in the day, he just about resists the temptation to reveal all when Abi lays into him for kicking up trouble, but in the end it's Ty that pretty much lets the cat out of the bag."

While chatting to Tyrone, Abi explains that she's planning to tell Jack that his dad's cancer hasn't responded to chemotherapy.

But being the moral man that Tyrone is, he finds it difficult to go along with the sick lie and assures Abi that Kevin isn't going to die anytime soon.

Naturally, Abi makes a beeline for her husband and confronts him about his best mate's words ? which forces Kevin to admit the extent of his deceit.

"It's heartbreaking to watch the couple fall apart," our insider continues. "Kevin apologises with all his heart, before trying to explain that he thought his lie would stop Abi from leaving him for his brother.

"It's clear that Kevin is terrified to lose Abi, but when all's said and done, it's perhaps not too much of a surprise that she finds solace in Carl?"

Later in the week, Abi does her best to keep up appearances in front of Jack. It becomes clear that she hasn't entirely cut things off with Kevin ? which, surprisingly, Carl seems content with.

While at work, Carl tells Abi that she's made the right decision to stay with Kevin, and they should keep their distance going forward. What could explain Carl's sudden change of heart?

In the aftermath of the drama, Kevin sacks his brother on the basis that he can't trust him. In turn, Carl agrees that he could do with a fresh start, which allows Kevin to spin yet another lie to Abi.

Desperate, Kevin pretends that Carl quit the garage and announced that he wants to move away ? leaving Abi feeling privately heartbroken.

Meanwhile, Debbie tries to convince Carl to stay with his family in Weatherfield.

Will Carl decide to stick around after all? And if so, will he and Abi find a way back to each other?
