Coronation Street's Lou Michaelis continues to face the consequences of attacking Gary Windass next week ? and could be facing a long stretch inside.
Since admitting her assault, and after husband Mick's daring jail break, Lou has been in custody and is awaiting her fate. If she's sent down, what will become of her kids with both their parents behind bars?
Here's why Emmerdale is off air again tonight ? and when it's back on ITV
"Lou's life is a disaster," our Corrie source says. "Brody has rejected her and she put Gary in a coma, so the only friends she has are Sally and Tim.
"But when Lou asks them for a big favour, will they help her in her hour of need?"
Sally prepares to take Lou's children to see their mum in prison, but brooding Brody refuses to go.
When Sal turns up with only Shanice and Joanie in tow, Lou is crushed that her son still hasn't forgiven her for keeping quiet about Kit Green being his biological father.
Trying her best to swallow her disappointment, and happy to at least be with her girls again, Lou updates Sally on her case.
"Lou plans to plead not guilty to the attack ? which means she could be facing a lengthy and potentially pricey court battle," our insider adds.
"Knowing she'll need to find the funds to finance her freedom, Lou tentatively asks Sal if she'd consider lending her the money to pay for her legal fees?"
Sally is taken aback, as it means she'd have to take out a bank loan and get herself into debt if she agrees.
As much as the Metcalfes are happy to help out with childcare, getting themselves into debt for Lou's violent outburst is a whole other matter. Although if upstanding Sally refuses, she knows it will be Shanice and Joanie who'll suffer the most.
Conflicted over Lou's desperate plea, Sally later gets word from social services there's been a development. Lou has had a change of heart, and it's increasingly likely she won't be coming home any time soon?
"Tim and Sally tell Brody that Lou has decided to plead guilty," reveals our mole. ?While they understand Brody's anger, they urge him to visit Lou in prison as it would mean a lot to her ? she needs her son, as the family's future is looking uncertain??
Can Brody move past his mother's betrayal and make peace with his mum before her sentencing? And what will Lou's fate be?

The Platts realise the true depth of Sam Blakeman's suffering on Coronation Street next week, when he isolates himself and flees from Audrey Roberts' birthday celebrations.
When the Platts gather for a special meal to celebrate Audrey's birthday in the Bistro, everyone's in good spirits ? everyone except Sam that is, who slips away on his own when he starts to feel panicky?
"Sam's dealing with some horrendous trauma," our Corrie insider says. "With his mum dying and Leanne and Nick's split, he's been through so much already in his young life.
"But what he suffered during Mick's recent rampage at the school has brought all his trauma to a head.
"He's unable to cope with the noisy birthday party and is forced to hide underneath the desk in the Bistro office."
But will sweet Sam suffer in silence, or will one of his family find him and encourage him to open up?
Later, Sam's uncle David Platt feels guilty about his daughter Lily's treatment of her cousin, so he and Shona lay down the law, telling her that she owes Sam a big apology for locking him out on his own during Mick's tirade.
With the family gathered to hear what she has to say, Lily shocks everyone by admitting that she locked Sam out of the classroom on purpose.
"No one can believe that Lily could be so cruel to her cousin," our source adds.
"Sam's fuming, as he'd assumed that her actions were in self-defence and purely innocent, despite being traumatising for him. It leaves the family questioning Lily's motives ? did she want Sam to get hurt, or even worse, killed?"
When a row breaks out, the Platts are left even more fractured than before ? but will Sam find it in his heart to forgive Lily? And can he take control of his trauma before it takes over his life?

Coronation Street's Kevin Webster will reach a stalemate with Carl as they each discover the other's secret.
The Webster brothers have both been telling huge lies in recent weeks, in order to further their own agendas.
Carl has been using Kevin's garage to fake the MOTs of stolen cars, in a dodgy business deal with newcomer Fiona. Meanwhile, Kevin lied about getting the all-clear from his latest cancer results, claiming that he still requires chemo.
In scenes airing on Friday, 25 July, Abi plans to support her husband with his treatment, unaware that Kevin isn't at his appointment. Tyrone ? who knows about Kevin's lie ? reluctantly stalls Abi so his friend can sneak away.
As Kevin hides from Abi in the ginnel, he sees Carl and Fiona in a secret meeting. Carl reveals that he's working on a fancy car at the garage and encourages Fiona to steal it so they can split the profits.
Later, Kevin catches Fiona driving away in the car. But while chasing after her, he starts to feel unwell and is taken to the hospital by Glenda.
When Carl arrives to take his brother home, Kevin confronts him about the ginnel conversation. However, Carl reveals that he spoke to a doctor and knows Kevin has been lying about his cancer.
The pair reach a stalemate as they each threaten to expose the truth. But who has the most to lose?
"It was bad enough for Kevin when Tyrone found out, but this is a whole other level," our Corrie source says.
"Carl knows that Abi is only staying with Kevin because she thinks he's still unwell, so this could be his chance to win her heart. Will Carl take it?"
