EastEnders? Stacey Slater is back on Albert Square next week ? but will she come clean to Kat about her daughter Zoe?

As Stacey comes face-to-face with Kat, she?s forced to cover when her cousin picks up on her shifty behaviour. But when she finds out that Alfie has been lying to her, will Kat finally discover that the pair have been keeping the mother of all secrets?

"Kat finds out that Alfie isn?t in Australia with his brother Spencer at all ? and she wants answers," says our Walford insider. "Not only that, but he?s been secretly in cahoots with Stacey while ignoring Kat?s calls.

"But never in her wildest dreams would Kat think that her cousin and her husband have been busy trying to track down her estranged daughter."

The drama begins when Stacey finally returns home with Hope and Arthur, having taken time away from the Square to help her deal with Martin?s death.

Jean and Mo are delighted to have the family back together, but Kat?s arrival sees Stacey start to act oddly, something that Kat picks up on.

Kat questions if she's okay, but Stacey quickly covers by claiming she is just missing Lily and Charli, who have been staying with Lily?s dad Ryan.

And luckily for Stacey, Kat soon becomes distracted by the troubles Tommy and Joel have brought to her and heads off to deal with that.

Later, Kat vents to Stacey, filling her in on the ongoing situation with the boys and her annoyance that Alfie isn?t there to support her, especially now he seems to be avoiding her calls.

As Stacey masks her discomfort, she claims she hasn?t heard from Alfie. However, she has questions to answer when Jean later innocently lets slip to Kat that Stacey took a call from Alfie earlier that day?

"Kat?s confused ? why would Alfie speak to Stacey but avoid her?" our source reveals. "She decides to take action and rings Spencer to investigate.

"But soon, she realises that Alfie is not in Oz as he claimed and has been lying to her. Kat is furious for being taken for a fool by Alfie once again."

Kat is on the warpath and heads to Stacey's, determined to discover why she?s been talking to Alfie ? and to find out where her husband really is. But will get to the shocking truth, that her husband is in Spain looking for her daughter?

"This is possibly the biggest secret that Stacey and Alfie could keep from Kat," teases our insider. "It would devastate Kat to know that they had seen Zoe but never told her. Stacey and Alfie may think they are protecting Kat, but she might not see it that way?"

EastEnders' Elaine Knight's life is on the line next week when she collapses ? twice. Have the landlady's stress levels taken their toll, or is there something more sinister going on with her health?

"2025 has been a tough year for Elaine," begins our EastEnders insider. "Her marriage is in tatters, her business is under threat, and now she's having funny turns. She really needs her family at a time like this."

With emotions running high since George Knight was sent packing, everyone's on edge around unpredictable Elaine. Linda Carter can't bear the atmosphere any longer and wants to sell her share of The Vic and withdraw from the family business.

Elaine's attempts to get her daughter to change her mind cause another blazing row, ending with frustrated Linda storming off. When Linda offloads to George in the caf?, her sympathetic stepdad tries to get her to reconsider.

When Elaine spies her ex and Linda together, paranoia kicks in and she accuses them of ganging up on her. Feeling betrayed, she decides she doesn't need Linda after all and heads to the bank to try to get a loan.

But this doesn't work, and Elaine is left fearing she may lose the pub in the divorce, which is bound to get even more bitter. After pleading with grandson Johnny to become a silent partner, to no avail, Elaine's behaviour becomes worryingly erratic.

"It's the end of a trying day and Elaine has had enough," explains our source. "She has a meltdown and orders all the punters out, then has another argument with Linda. All of a sudden, distressed Elaine collapses and falls to the floor."

Linda and Johnny watch in horror as Elaine passes out and are immediately wracked with guilt at pushing her over the edge.

Once Elaine comes around, she plays down the incident as a panic attack, insisting she's fine and just got overwhelmed after such a stressful run of rotten luck.

Concerned for her mother's wellbeing, conflicted Linda confides in Johnny Carter about whether selling her half of the pub is the right thing to do. Can she really leave Elaine high and dry, knowing this could mean the end of her reign behind the bar?

But Johnny reckons his mum is best off cutting her losses. Elaine and George's break-up has already torn the family apart, and he doesn't want his grandma's volatile antics to drive recovering addict Linda back to drink.

Linda goes to talk things through with Elaine, only to get another nasty shock?

"Elaine has collapsed again," our insider reveals. "Linda is properly worried now ? is this really a panic attack brought on by stress, or could Elaine be seriously ill?"

As Elaine is rushed to hospital, what will doctors diagnose after her dramatic double fainting?

Linda informs Elaine that she wants to sell her half of The Vic and an argument kicks off when she refuses to change her mind. George encourages Linda to see things from Elaine's point of view, but Elaine spots them together and wrongly suspects that they're plotting against her.

Elaine faces a disappointing meeting with the bank and things get worse when Johnny refuses to be her silent partner. Elaine orders all of the customers out of The Vic and ignites another furious argument with Linda. There's a shocking outcome when Elaine collapses.

Meanwhile, Vicki and Ross learn that they're being evicted from No.43 for failing to repay their debt. Vicki seeks an advance from Bernie but ends up getting fired. She retaliates by blackmailing Bernie over stealing money from the Panesars' business accounts.

Elsewhere, Stacey behaves strangely around Kat and the rest of her family as she returns to the Square.

Also today, Johnny and Felix surprise everyone by agreeing to move in together.


Monday 30 June 2025 at 19:30 on BBC Two

Vicki demands that Bernie hands over half of her stolen profits, in return for her staying quiet. Felix warns Bernie that she'd be wise to tread carefully with the Panesars.

Later, Vicki convinces Zack to speak to Sharon about her staying at No.43 after all. However, Kathy is horrified when Vicki later shares the real reason for the sudden change in her financial fortunes.

Kathy warns Suki that Bernie has stolen from the Panesar accounts. Bernie is cornered, but she informs Ravi, Priya and Suki that Vicki is the one who's responsible for the crime.

As Linda and Johnny worry about Elaine, she tries to make out that her collapse was a panic attack. Linda starts to feel guilty and wonders whether she should keep her share of the pub for Elaine's sake.

Johnny urges Linda to stand firm, but when they return to the bar, Elaine has collapsed again.

Elsewhere, Joel encourages Tommy to steal vapes from the Minute Mart.

With Vicki being wrongly accused, Ravi and Priya are determined to teach her a lesson. Suki insists that she'll sort it out herself, but Bernie questions the Panesars on why they're not taking more decisive action. Ravi responds by leading Vicki into a trap at Walford East.

Later, Bernie shows Priya and Ravi the business accounts, but the pair recruit Vinny to get to the bottom of the situation

Meanwhile, Kat confronts Ross and Vicki over Joel's worrying influence when she finds out about Tommy and Joel stealing vapes. Kat is also upset over Alfie avoiding her calls. Stacey makes out that she hasn't spoken to Alfie, but Jean points out that this isn't true.

Later, Kat calls Spencer and discovers that Alfie has lied to her about going to Australia.

Elsewhere, Felix is unsettled to spot Johnny and Callum spending time together.

Also today, Lauren and Peter manage to put their differences aside.

Lauren heads to The Albert to support Peter, as he's working at The Albert's Pride party. When Lauren arrives, Cindy gives her a stern warning.
