Monday

Aadi Alahan throws a party with disastrous consequences

After Bernie Winter's suggestion, Aadi decides to throw a midsummer party. Carla Connor gives Betsy Swain the keys to lock up the factory, but it slips her mind when she gets distracted by Brody Michaelis, Dylan Wilson and Lauren Bolton heading to the party.

Dylan is concerned when Brody shows Dylan a bottle of LSD and tells him he wants to make some money. Meanwhile, there’s romantic tension between Amy Barlow and Aadi, but a misunderstanding leaves Aadi hurt. Can the pair make amends?

Brody puts up a fight when Aadi kicks him out of the party for bringing LSD. However, when Brodie leaves, Aadi divides the LSD into three cups.

As Summer Spellman and Nina Lucas knock back their share of the LSD, Aadi gets distracted by an incident upstairs. When Aadi returns, he's horrified to discover someone has accidentally taken the drugs and it leads to a dramatic turn of events...

Still high on LSD, Nina and Summer go into the darkened caf?, but they're terrified when they hear the sound of sirens. What's happened at Aadi's party?

Elsewhere, Kit Green tells Bernie that he's had the DNA results through and confirms he is definitely Brody's dad, but will he keep this news a secret?


Wednesday

Debbie Webster ends up in an unlikely place

Debbie calls her brother Kevin Webster and lies that she's staying at a spa hotel to clear her head. However, it's clear she's calling from a police station when she hangs up. After taking a call from Debbie, Abi Webster comes to pick her up. Is Debbie in trouble with the law?

Summer Spellman and Nina Lucas retrace their steps from the night before. The pair discuss the incident they saw that night and agree they have no choice but to keep quiet. What are they hiding?

Bernie Winter apologises to Aadi and Asha Alahan for grandson Brody Michaelis' behaviour and hopes he didn't ruin the party. Meanwhile, someone’s condition deteriorates after accidentally taking LSD. Will they pull through?

Kit Green tells Aadi that there’s been a report of drugs at the party and he’ll need to make a statement. Will Aadi tell the truth?

Liam Connor is worried about Gary's whereabouts and confides in mum Maria that Gary isn't answering his calls and he should have been back from his mum’s by now. Maria masks her concerns for Liam, but where is Gary?

Steve McDonald suggests to Tracy Barlow that she should check over their divorce papers. When Steve makes out he’s not doing anything for his birthday, Tracy forms a plan.

As Cassie Plummer kisses Steve, he receives a text from Tracy telling him they need to discuss the divorce papers and to meet in the pub. When Steve arrives, he finds that Tracy has duped him into birthday drinks and she has no intentions of discussing their divorce. Steve makes his excuses to leave and Tracy follows him. How will Tracy react when she finds Cassie and Steve together?

Also, Kit reveals to girlfriend Sarah Platt that he’s definitely Brody’s dad.

Nina Lucas drops a bombshell on Roy Cropper

When Nina tells Roy about taking hallucinogenic drugs at the party and reveals what she can remember, he urges her to go to the police.

What has Nina done?

After talking to Carl Webster, Ronnie Bailey visits ex Debbie Webster with a bottle of champagne and asks if she will have him back. Debbie refuses and admits she loves him, but would rather he found happiness with someone else than be her carer. Will Ronnie convince Debbie to get back together?

Theo Silverton is jealous when James Bailey tells Todd Grimshaw he’s now a personal trainer. Seeing her dad's jealousy, Millie forms a plan and tells Todd that she’s booked him a training session with James to apologise for her recent behaviour.

Todd berates Millie for drinking whilst pregnant when he sees her with a can of lager. Millie begs him not to tell Theo, but will Todd agree?

Maria Connor receives a message from Gary Windass telling her he’s staying with a mate and he’ll be home soon.

Meanwhile, Steve McDonald kisses Cassie Plummer and reveals they’re an item now and he doesn’t care who knows it. But how does Tracy feel?

Psychedelic drugs turn an impromptu house party into the stuff of nightmares on Coronation Street next week, when the youngsters of Weatherfield are haunted by hallucinations.

With locals including Amy Barlow, Asha Alahan, Betsy Swain and Lauren Bolton in attendance, the party soon takes a dramatic turn when someone accidentally takes LSD.

Meanwhile, after Summer Spellman and Nina Lucas knowingly take the substance, their fun turns deadly?

"The night takes an unexpected turn, leaving Summer and Nina distraught," shares Harriet Bibby, who plays terrified Summer.

"Even without the drugs they'd be feeling really shocked and upset about what happens to them, so times that by 10 with the LSD in their system. They're really worried and scared?"

The frightening events of the evening begin as Aadi Alahan takes Bernie Winter's advice and hosts a spontaneous midsummer party to liven up his boring life.

But the partygoers' innocent fun is soon sabotaged when Brody Michaelis arrives with a bottle of LSD?

As the gathering gets going, Aadi is left upset when a romantic moment between him and Amy turns into a misunderstanding. His mood sours even more when he spots Brody with LSD and kicks him out ? but when he empties the drug into three cups, some of the guests decide to experiment.

"We see the effects of the drugs hit Nina and Summer, and they seem to be having a lovely time," explains Harriet.

"Then the police arrive ? or so they think, it's actually just DS Swain and Carla looking for Betsy. But Summer and Nina get very paranoid because they know they've taken something they shouldn't. So they decide to duck out of the party."

It's after the pair leave the house that the situation takes a dangerous turn. Confused and high, Nina and Summer head to Roy Cropper's caf?. They sit in the dark and begin to panic when they hear police sirens. What's happened to them during their drug-fuelled night?

"Nina and Summer witness something," teases Harriet. "They're not sure what was real or what were hallucinations. They re-trace their steps and look for any clues that might help them remember something solid."

The morning after, Summer and Nina try to make sense of what they saw. But as they try to piece together what happened, someone else's condition deteriorates after unknowingly taking LSD. Will Summer and Nina come forward?

"Nina wants to report what they've seen," reveals Harriet. "But Summer thinks there's no point as they don't know for sure whether something happened. They look back on the night with regret ? it's not just Summer and Nina in a dangerous situation?"

Scared by what she remembers, Nina betrays Summer and opens up to Roy. But while Roy urges his niece to go to the police, Kit Green tells Aadi he'll need to make a statement about the drugs at the party.

Will the partygoers be honest about what happened when they were under the influence? Or will they keep quiet and live with the guilt?

Coronation Street's Kit Green finally has his suspicions confirmed next week, when a DNA test proves for sure that he is Brody Michaelis's biological father.

But now he knows for certain, will he tell Brody the truth about his paternity?

"Kit's head is already spinning about Brody, but it'll now be harder than ever for him to keep this to himself," our Corrie insider explains.

"It's clear he can't keep his paternal instinct at bay ? especially after helping Brody when he was in the midst of an epileptic seizure recently, which led to the pair sharing a bonding moment afterwards.

"And with Brody seemingly unable to keep out of trouble, Kit could feel it's his job to put him on the right path ? after all, Mick isn't about to step up, is he?"

Kit had a DNA test done behind Lou Michaelis's back, after she shied away from the possibility that Brody might be Kit's son, knowing that it would blow her entire family apart.

However, Brody's seizure led to Bernie getting her hands on the lad's cap, which had some of his hair in it, allowing Kit to go it alone with the test.

Next week, Kit reveals to Bernie that the DNA results have come through, confirming that Brody is her grandson. Like Kit, she has been trying to keep an eye on the boy, but with mixed results.

However, now that it's official, both know that the information would pull the rug right out from under Brody, who is volatile enough already. But can Kit really keep it to himself?

"It's clear that Kit is not coping," our insider adds. "As well as the revelation about Brody, he is carrying so much guilt from Craig's tragic death. Kit couldn't even attend his memorial because Craig was a young man that Kit feels he let down.

"And now in Brody there's another lad who, if he continues to behave the way he is, could well end up rotting in prison ? or worse. Can Kit stand by and let that happen?"

Meanwhile, with Bernie having lost her son Paul so recently, family is very much front of mind for her. Plus, she is prone to making rather rash decisions. Will she be able to sit back without letting her new grandson know who she is?

As Kit later tells Sarah Barlow the results of the test, it seems the secret is starting to spread already. How long before Brody finds out? And how will he react when he does?

Ryan Mulvey, who plays Brody, recently told us: "That's coming up very soon. I'm really excited for the world to see that.

"Because obviously I think it's getting [to the point] that every single person knows on the Street except for Brody! So it's really exciting for that to come out. It's definitely not a small secret when it comes out.

"I think it's been bubbling. It's been boiling ? then when he finds out, it kind of just erupts. So filming those scenes with Jacob [Roberts, who plays Kit], it's just been amazing with the directors and everything.

"When he finally figures out who his dad is, his mind's blown."
