Eastenders seems to be obsessed abouts sex, or in some cases, the lack of it, at the moment. I almost wish we could have another new gangster story. The way they write for Patrick it is easy to forget that he is in his eighties, unless he really is a superman.

I presume that it was his flat, very fortunate that he lives nearby. I found it very difficult to believe in this story. Did the Guy think Elaine was a much younger woman, because of the way she dresses, or has he got mummy issues. Personally I think George should have left her a long time ago, even if it means losing the Vic. I have never been invested in their relationship. I much preferred the original Elaine.

Bert and Ernie were not the only ones feeling sick in this episode, I was too. What a cringe fest this was. How could a limo disappear without anyone noticing? And to find an open top bus in a matter of minutes, especially as it was Jean and Billy who were charged with doing it. I do hope the wedding does go ahead, so that we can find out if Joel tricked Tommy into including a lot of toxic nonsense into his speech. How Eastenders won "Soap of the Year" I will never know, can only assume the others were thought to be worse.
