Emmerdale's Jacob Gallagher puts pressure on Sarah Sugden next week as he urges her to tell her grandmother Charity Dingle about her cancer.
Sickly Sarah still hasn't informed anyone of her diagnosis, but how long before her distressing news is out?
"Just when Sarah needs her family the most, she's shutting them out," begins our Emmerdale insider.
"Jacob only knows because he saw her at the hospital, and made her promise she'd tell Charity. When he finds out she hasn't, he's fuming."
Sarah's condition was discovered during tests to see if she was suitable for IVF, as she's desperate to have a baby.
While Sarah initially confided in close friend Vanessa Woodfield about her desire to become a mum, once doctors detected she had cervical cancer she vowed to deal with the upsetting news alone.
With Sarah out of sorts, Charity wonders if everything is okay and begins asking awkward questions ? while Jacob finds himself dragged into the drama and has to cover for his ex, not wanting to betray her trust.
He's angry that Sarah has gone back on her word about putting her gran in the picture, not to mention putting him in an awkward position.
"It's getting harder for Sarah to hide how much pain she's in," explains our source.
"Sooner or later she'll have to explain her symptoms to Charity. Sarah's also banking on Jacob honouring patient confidentiality, but what if he gets so frustrated he blurts it out?"
As she anxiously awaits the next steps of her treatment, will Sarah let Charity help her?

Emmerdale's Tracy Robinson is left reeling next week, after she becomes the prime suspect for Nate's murder.
The cops discover damning evidence that leaves the victim's widow under suspicion, while real killer John Sugden watches from the sidelines. Will innocent Tracy be sent down?
"Grieving Tracy is desperate for answers about Nate's fate," begins our Emmerdale insider.
"The last thing she expects is to be accused of the crime. She's forced to defend herself which only makes things worse, and leads to Tracy looking even more guilty."
Initially, the person of most interest to the police is Cain Dingle. Seeing as Nate 'left' the village under a cloud after fighting with his dad, Cain has the biggest motive for murder in the eyes of the law.
Meanwhile, Tracy herself is convinced Cain did her other half in, and shares her theory with anyone who's prepared to listen.
John is next to be hauled in for questioning, not because anyone thinks he's done it, but to recall his memories of the day Nate was meant to move to Scotland.
Conflicted about deflecting the blame for his crime, John hopes he's said enough to get Cain off the hook. However, fed up with being branded a killer, Cain decides to give Tracy a taste of her own medicine?
"Cain turns on her and exclaims that he reckons she did it," our insider continues. "The pair clash and Tracy is traumatised.
"Her nightmare continues the following day when the police call round with a search warrant ? and unearth something very incriminating."
Tracy is stunned and confused when Nate's phone is found in daughter Frankie's playhouse. It's a vital piece of evidence, though she claims she has no idea how it got there. If it's been in the house since Nate disappeared all those months ago, this doesn't reflect well on Tracy.
Viewers know sneaky John had the phone all along after he accidentally ended Nate's life, so the device ending up in Tracy's home seems rather convenient? Is John sneakily trying to frame Nate's grieving widow?
Tracy is dragged down to the interview room for a grilling. Under interrogation, officers reveal there's also no record of the removal man who supposedly came to take Nate's belongings to Shetland after he was last seen.
The cops then reveal they believe Nate was killed on the day he was meant to leave town. Panicking, Tracy insists that she was with Vanessa that entire day ? which is not strictly true.
"Nate's phone being found makes Tracy look guilty, and she panics," our source explains.
"After talking to the police, she dashes to find Vanessa and begs her to back her up. She's asking her sister to provide a false alibi ? this is serious."
Vanessa is vexed by the request, and knows Tracy needs her help. But lying to the cops could backfire, and land both siblings in all kinds of trouble.
As DS Walsh asks Vanessa to make an official statement confirming Tracy's alibi, can she bring herself to lie for her sister?

Did John plant the phone in Tracy's house as he had it and did anyone else see the movers of Nate's things, I thought Cain and Chas had seen the moving van

Banged-up Robert Sugden goes head-to-head with his estranged brother John on Emmerdale next week ? and vows to expose his true colours.
Desperate to win back his soulmate Aaron Dingle from the clutches of his secretly twisted brother, Robert sticks the knife in during a special episode and goads insecure John.
But just as smug Robert has the upper hand, John makes a grave slip-up that could change everything?
"John comes to visit Robert," reveals Ryan Hawley, who plays Robert. "They have it out, but the prison setting means their feelings towards each other have to be restrained. It's tense!"
After Victoria Sugden admits that Robert is struggling inside, guilty Aaron risks destroying his new marriage just weeks after the doomed ceremony took place by making an emotional visit to his vulnerable ex-husband in prison.
As the former lovers sit across from each other, years on from their tragic farewell, Robert's hopes are high.
"Aaron comes to visit Robert, much to his surprise and delight," teases Ryan. "It's a special episode with only a few cast members and some really big scenes, fantastically written."
With his heart on the line, Robert tries again to tell Aaron that his feelings are as strong as ever. However, Aaron crushes his dreams, adamant that John is the right man for him.
"Robert and Aaron go on a nice journey," says Ryan. "It's really emotional. There are things they haven't had the chance to say to each other for six years, so there's a lot to be revealed?"
Devastated by Aaron's decision, Robert promises to leave him alone ? but a visit from his sinister younger brother could dramatically change his plans.
John's shock arrival at the prison sees both men on edge, with the menacing medic rattled by Aaron paying Robert a visit behind his back.
Trying to rile his younger brother, Robert tells John that if he was still alive, their father Jack would have wanted nothing to do with him. Then, to put the boot in, Robert plays his final trump card and reveals that he and Aaron gave into a stolen kiss right before the wedding ceremony.
Unable to keep his cool, John explodes, telling Robert he has no idea what he's capable of. But has John's illuminating outburst set Robert's mind whirring, ready to uncover his brother's true colours?
Will Robert realise it's not just Aaron who needs rescuing from John, but the whole village? As John fears he's losing his grip, Robert's convinced more than ever that John is hiding something?
"Robert vows to come back to the village," explains Ryan. "He plans to expose John for the man he believes him to be, which is not the right man for Aaron. When he's out, he takes great delight in telling them he's back!"
Turning up at Aaron's flat, a bruised and battered Robert tells the newlyweds that he's back for good to spend some quality time with his family. How will John respond?
Emmerdale airs the special episode on Tuesday 17 June on ITV1 and ITVX.

Emmerdale's Charity Dingle feels both angry and devastated next week, as she discovers that her granddaughter Sarah Sugden has been diagnosed with cervical cancer.
At home, Charity makes the decision to answer Sarah's mobile phone when it buzzes with a new call.
Once she picks up, Charity's stunned that a staff member from Hotten General is on the other end of the line.
"Charity's face says it all. She can't believe what she eventually learns ? Sarah has cervical cancer," our Emmerdale source explains.
"It's terrifying enough that Sarah has been diagnosed with such a daunting illness, but it's also the fact that she kept quiet about it.
"For years now, Charity has cared for Sarah and fully believed that their relationship was strong enough for them to confide in each other. It's no wonder that she's full of emotion when she next sees Sarah."
Shortly after the life-changing call, Sarah comes face to face with her furious grandmother.
In their living room, Charity blurts out that she's found out about the diagnosis ? leaving Sarah to deal with the big discovery.
Will the two women come together and support each other ? or will it descend into a blazing argument?
"Sarah knows there's no going back now," our insider continues. "She's done all she can to keep her health news between her and Jacob, even refusing to budge when her ex had a go at her for not telling Charity.
"But the truth is out there now, and she's going to have to face up to the reality of the awful situation.
"Hopefully in the long run, it will actually do her good to have Charity by her side for the next steps of her journey, whatever that might be."
Prior to this, Sarah attends an egg retrieval procedure, as she stands firm in her wish to become a parent through in vitro fertilisation (IVF).
Afterwards, the mechanic is delighted when she hears from Dr Knapp that the medics have retrieved a suitable number of eggs to check for viability.
With Sarah's IVF journey just beginning, will Charity's revelation hinder her progress? Or will she do whatever it takes to become a mum?

Aaron Dingle is in a tough spot
When Robert Sugden interrupted Aaron and John's wedding, it nearly put paid to their relationship, let alone the ceremony.
But try as Robert might to change Aaron's mind, he was adamant that his future lay with John rather than his ex-husband.
So when Robert – who's back in jail – sent Aaron a visiting order, the Dingle ripped up in a bid to show paranoid John he's 100 per cent committed to him.
Victoria understands when Aaron tells her he won't be visiting her jailed brother.
But Aaron's put in a dilemma when she later returns with news that Robert's in a really bad way.
With Victoria not knowing how to help him, Aaron's got to decide if he's prepared to risk his brand new marriage to John, knowing he'll lose it if he ventures up to the prison to see Robert.
What will the Dingle do?
At Tenant's, Mandy and Paddy are at a loss over Bear.
He's been behaving really erratically and things haven't improved despite their efforts.
Having bought him a motorbike to do up, the couple are horrified when they find he's left bike parts all over the house.
Later, Paddy summons his dad to Cain's garage where he announces that Bear's been given the go ahead to work on his bike there.
It's a win for the relieved couple. But had they stuck around longer, they'd have realised that the problem is far from solved.
Out of sight, Bear erupts in fury at his motorbike. But why? What is upsetting him so much?

Robert Sugden sends his killer brother into a rage
Though John's painfully aware that Robert tried to steal Aaron from him on their wedding day, he doesn't know they shared a passionate kiss.
But he's about to find out!
At the prison, Robert is in bits about what happened when he returned to the village to try to win back Aaron and was publicly rejected.
His heart's broken, but when Aaron comes up to check on him, risking his marriage in the process, Aaron is firm. He's chosen John and that's that.
In the face of Aaron's steely determination, Robert's forced to accept that his ex really has moved on and married his half-brother.
In defeat, Robert vows to steer clear of them from now on.
But Robert's decision changes when jealous John then rocks up to the prison, demanding an audience with his rival brother.
As a bitter exchange erupts, which sees their dead dad Jack brought into their war of words, Robert revels in telling John that he kissed Aaron on their wedding day.
When John explodes in rage, warning Robert he has no idea who he's messing with, his brother's egged on, determined to find out what his sibling is hiding.
With that, Robert triumphantly vows to return to the village, knowing it's the last thing John wants to hear.
Has Robert unwittingly put his life in danger? Is secret killer John going to make him "disappear"?

Vinny Dingle needs to open up
Vinny Dingle's been having a right laugh with good-time guy, Kammy Hadiq.
But when the two worked together to cobble together an anniversary surprise for Vinny's fianc?e Gabby, Vinny ended up trying to kiss his friend.
Though Kammy was taken aback, he wasn't fazed by Vinny's unexpected lunge and laughed it off, going along with Vinny's "oh whoops, I didn't mean it" vibe.
But Vinny's been in a spin ever since, shocked by his unexpected feelings towards his friend and embarrassed to have made a move when he's supposed to be in love with Gabby.
Though the mortified Dingle's been giving Kammy the cold shoulder, the happy-go-lucky mechanic isn't up for the awkward atmosphere and wants to talk.
At the HOP, will Vinny open up about his feelings or is he going to continue to pretend the near-kiss was a mix-up?
At the garage, Bear's trying to fix his motorbike but is getting more and more frustrated and cross.
Picking on Bear's irritation with the bike, mechanic Kammy tries to help and is taken aback when the OAP turns on him.
Paddy clocks the scene and shouts at his dad to let the young guy go.
Things quickly simmer down but the saga leaves Paddy more worried than ever about his dad who's getting more and more volatile by the day.
Back at home, having filled in Mandy, the couple are stunned when Bear later returns to Tenant's, perfectly chipper as nothing has happened.
Determined not to sweep the problem under the rug, the pair attempt to address Bear's anger but get shut down as Bear becomes irritated and stomps off to his bedroom.
What's wrong with Bear? Has he got dementia? Depression? Is something or someone secretly upsetting him?
Elsewhere, having failed to give her suspect sister an alibi for the day Nate was murdered, Vanessa tries to talk to Tracy, who doesn't want to know.

Robert Sugden returns to the village for good
At Mill, the newlyweds' love nest gets a right old shake-up when Robert calls in to announce he's back in the village and is sticking around!
Aaron Dingle's horrified to clock his ex in his home. The last he knew, Robert had vowed to accept that he'd chosen to be with his brother John.
But last week a bitter exchange with John changed all that and saw Robert determined to return and win back Aaron.
John is sent into a dark rage at the sheer sight of his brother. Will the secret killer make a plan to get rid of him?
Sarah heads to the hospital for her egg retrieval and is thrilled when the doctor informs her the procedure has gone well.
When she returns home, buzzing with excitement that her secret plan to become a mum is moving along, Sarah's confronted by her angry gran.
Having answered Sarah's phone, Charity has found out that her granddaughter's been diagnosed with cervical cancer.
Will Sarah manage to make Charity see that she tried and tried to tell her?
With Bear's behaviour having become a serious cause for concern, Mandy's persuaded Paddy to address it with his dad.
Thing is, when Paddy tries to seek him out there's no sign of Bear – and his motorbike has gone too…
Has volatile Bear done a bunk?

Robert Sugden is a man on a mission
Robert rocked Aaron's world when he turned up on his wedding day to John, who not only happens to be the new love of Aaron's life, but also Robert's half-brother... oh, and add village killer to that list, as well.
But while Aaron might have picked John as the man he wants to be with, despite the deep history he has with his ex-husband Robert, John is desperately trying to hold on to his relationship since finding out that Aaron kissed his ex on their wedding day.
Earlier this week, Aaron made it clear during a visit to see Robert in prison that his future was firmly with John. However, what Aaron doesn't know is that John is harbouring some dark secrets so grim that it would turn his world upside down if he unearthed them.
Robert has taken great joy in telling John all about his passionate kiss with Aaron, which resulted in John lashing out in anger. But although Robert can tell his half-sibling is hiding something sinister, he has absolutely no idea just how dangerous he can be.
Victoria Sugden warns Robert Sugden that he needs to face up to his prison trauma before it sends him on a one way trip back to prison.
Robert is readjusting to life back in the village, having been released from prison and arriving back in Emmerdale sporting a very impressive black eye.
But while Aaron might not be welcoming his ex back with open arms, one person who is pleased to see Robert is his sister, Victoria.
However, poor Robert is finding it hard to see newlyweds Aaron and John together and Victoria is forced to give her brother a good talking to, telling Robert that he needs to face up to his prison trauma before it sends him on a one-way trip back to jail.
But, despite his claims he is only back in Emmerdale to spend time with his family, it is clear Robert is a man on a mission.
How far will he go to get Aaron back?
And is he about to sign his own death warrant by getting on the wrong side of killer John?
