    The British Soap Awards have made a triumphant return after a two-year gap ? and the lucky 2025 winners can now be officially revealed.

    Some of the best-loved stars from Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks gathered at the Hackney Empire in London on Saturday (31 May) to celebrate another unforgettable year of soap.

    Hosted by Jane McDonald, the glamorous ceremony recognised the best storylines, performances and plot twists from the past 12 months ? and competition was fierce.

    The only award Corrie won. Perhaps this might be a lesson to them to do less of the gangster, police and hospital drama stuff and get back to what Corrie used to be good at with real families and more than a bit of comedy.
