Aaron Brennan will face a huge choice on Neighbours as he finds himself in the middle of a love triangle.

Aaron has been grieving for the past year following the death of his beloved husband David Tanaka, with the character largely shying away from romance as he focused on processing his sadness.

This changes on Monday and Tuesday (9 and 10 June), however, with the figure resolving to find love again. He gets a timely boost when Rhett Norman confirms that he is now single, a development which pleases Aaron following their prior connection.

Aaron informs his friends that he is ready to head back into the world of dating, with the perfect opportunity arising after comes into contact with Rhett again. Following a positive conversation, the pair agree to go on a date.

Despite the date going swimmingly, a spanner is thrown into the works as Aaron bumps into Colton Keys, who has returned to Erinsborough for an interview regarding the temporarily vacant position at Eirini Rising.

Though sharing that the role would be a good move for his career, Colton confesses to Aaron that he applied partly in the hope that they could resume the brief fling that they had begun while on holiday.

Realising that he now has two men chasing him, Aaron is stuck in a predicament as he assesses which avenue to go down ? which option will he choose? And is there the prospect of long-term commitment with either Rhett or Colton?

"Aaron is torn ? he's waited months for the right guy to come along, and now he has two on his hands," said a source for the soap. "He was originally very keen on Rhett, but was hesitant at the time because he didn't feel ready to date after David's death. When he finally changed his mind, Rhett had already moved on ? but that's all changed now.

"Aaron also felt a chemistry with Colton when they met on holiday recently, but he feared he'd messed it up by lying about his identity so he didn't have to think about his old life with David. Colton was freaked out at the time, but now seems to have warmed to Aaron again?."

Neighbours releases new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays for free on Amazon Freevee and Prime Video in the UK and US. In Australia, the show airs from Mondays to Thursdays at 4pm on Channel 10, with a 6.30pm repeat screening on 10 Peach Comedy.
