Neighbours lines up mystery tragedy next month as Jane Harris breaks down
    Andrew shares some bad news.

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...arris-tragedy/

    Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours legend Jane Harris is left devastated by a visit from the police next month. Has tragedy befallen somebody who's close to her?

The heartbreaking storyline has been revealed in a new set of spoiler pictures, which preview tough times ahead for Jane in May.

While exact details of the sad plot won't be revealed until nearer the time, we can see that Andrew Rodwell arrives on Jane's doorstep alongside a police colleague with some news to share.

As the local policeman explains all, Jane breaks down and has to be comforted by her concerned children Byron and Nicolette.

The scenes air on Tuesday 27 May and Wednesday 28 May. A short teaser spoiler for the first episode reveals that "Jane's anxiety skyrockets" amid a stressful time.

For the following episode, the synopsis says: "Jane is overwhelmed with guilt and regret."

Neighbours bosses have recently brought back Jane's mum Amanda, with Briony Behets reprising the role after a 38-year absence.

Amanda secretly moved into Eirini Rising and confided in Susan Kennedy about how she was testing her family, wanting to see how long it'd take for them to notice that she's no longer living in Sydney.

In this week's episodes, the game is up as Jane stumbles across Amanda at Eirini Rising and fumes at her for playing games.

Meanwhile, other spoiler pictures for May see Amanda make the mistake of trusting scheming doctor Darcy Tyler.

The pair are seen all alone away from Erinsborough, which could be a dangerous situation since viewers are starting to suspect that Darcy still can't be trusted.

So, could this all be connected? Stick with us in the coming weeks for the full lowdown on the storyline...

Neighbours releases new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays for free on Amazon Freevee and Prime Video in the UK and US. In Australia, the show airs from Mondays to Thursdays at 4pm on Channel 10, with a 6.30pm repeat screening on 10 Peach Comedy.

“Holly's vigilante mission lands her in danger.”!! Neighbours isn’t even trying to change the same old same old storyline. They really are going down with head first. It’s been a slow death over the last few years since writers gone too woke and trying to cater to every culture and trend in the world instead of keeping it original and authentic Australian. Acting has become so cringy to watch. Looks like everyone has lost their mojo knowing it’s going for good. I’m only watching it out of loyalty but some episodes make it hard to watch. No wonder they can’t find sponsors.

HOLLY in danger again, cracks me up. Wash, rinse & repeat ….
I agree with everything you said.
The whole woke agenda is pathetic . Go woke go broke…isn’t that what they say?
The SL’s are dumb, the writing is lazy and the acting is not great with some of these characters.
NEIGHBOURS had the opportunity to start fresh with everything and it’s definitely failed. Sponsors won’t be banging on their doors with current SL’s. I’m bored to tears.

Will PAUL keep the secret about THOMAS?????
Id love to see PAUL take responsibility for the baby though he isnt the biological father. This can be the perfect setup for CHAUL. Fresh new start. TERESE and PAUL are boring as a couple. All they ever do is argue….

Neighbours is set to air one final twist in Harold Bishop's storyline following the fan-favourite character's emotional exit.

In December, Harold actor Ian Smith announced that he'd be leaving the soap, after being diagnosed with terminal cancer.

Back in April, Neighbours aired Harold's final episode, bidding an emotional farewell to the character after 38 years on the Australian soap.

In the episode, Harold announced that he was moving back to Queensland permanently to live with his granddaughter Sky Mangel.

The soap previously confirmed that Harold's story wasn't quite over, with executive producer Jason Herbison revealing that Harold will be in one more scene.

In scenes set to air on Monday 26 May and Tuesday 27 May, things are looking up for Agnes, who receives some good news about her novel.

After sending her novel manuscript to Harold, which was previously rejected by another publisher, he passed it on to a publisher in Port Douglas who reaches out to Agnes, showing a keen interest in her work.

In their positive first phone call, the publisher requests some revisions to the novel, which will take months of work.

Agnes is invigorated by the possibility and, after a request to visit Port Douglas to discuss it in person, Agnes is thrilled at the chance to see Harold in person.

Max pitches the idea to Agnes of moving to Port Douglas for a few months, so she can work with the publisher of her new book and spend some more time with her friend Harold.

Agnes is tempted but hesitant about how Harold might feel if she just lands on him like that, but Susan helps Agnes to work through her doubts, telling her Harold wouldn't have kept up a long-distance friendship if he didn't value it.

Susan is proved right when Agnes decides to surprise Harold by turning up at his door. There, she is greeted by the warmest of welcomes.

Neighbours to air a heartbreaking death - 38 years after character's debut
A tragic accident or foul play?

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...-harris-death/

    Neighbours spoilers follow.

Neighbours is set to air a heartbreaking death for Amanda Harris, 38 years after her debut on the soap.

Amanda recently returned to Erinsborough in a bid to reconnect with her daughter Jane and grandchildren Byron and Nicolette. But having taken up residence at Eirini Rising, she became the target of doctor Darcy Tyler who has been using Amanda's memory issues to steal money and turn her against her family.

In next week's episodes, Jane struggles to navigate her mother's shifting mental state, and tries to convince her to undergo proper cognitive testing for dementia.

Meanwhile, Karl accuses Darcy of being responsible for his opioid dependency issues. Though Darcy denies it, Terese makes it clear that she's got her eye on him.

The walls start to close in on the devious doctor, when he discovers Jane's plans to take control of Amanda's affairs, including her finances. He begins a sinister scheme to turn Amanda against her family.

Later, the Harris family struggle with Amanda's angry outburst and the cancellation of their trip to the Dandenong Ranges. But they realise that her mood swings can go both ways and they can still salvage their plans, as Jane goes to look for her mother.

At the Dandenongs, Darcy arrives to meet Amanda, but sets up his alibi with Tess Bell at the same time. Amanda experiences another moment of confusion, thinking Darcy is Jane, and finally apologises to 'Jane' for treating her badly.

She then realises her confusion and admits to being scared about her deteriorating mental state. Darcy is torn between sympathy and needing to cover his own tracks. He ensures he meets up with Tess in order to solidify his alibi.

Elsewhere, Jane is unable to find her mother and asks Susan for help. When she discovers Amanda was seen getting into a taxi, a worried Jane calls the police who begin a search. Susan calls Darcy, who is still catching up with Tess.

The Harris family anxiously await an update of Amanda's whereabouts. But when Andrew arrives, his sombre face relays the devastating news that Amanda is dead.

"Amanda's body has been found at the bottom of an embankment, robbing Jane of a final chance to reconcile with her," our Neighbours source explains.

"Darcy was behaving very suspiciously in the build-up to this tragedy, so was this a tragic accident or foul play? And how much danger are the other Ramsay Street residents in, with Darcy still at large? All will be revealed..."
