Lauren Branning and her fiance, Peter Beale have been left devastated by the discovery that their baby son Jimmy is partially sighted

Peter struggles to accept Jimmy's diagnosis.

While Lauren is left feeling overwhelmed by well-wishers while pushing Jimmy's pram around the Square.

Peter's mum Cindy and gran Kathy temporarily put their differences aside to support the couple.

But the situation takes a terrible turn when Peter blames recovering addict Lauren for their son's health condition...

Harvey Monroe sets his sights on a new business venture after being sacked from his taxi driver job at Kat's Cabs.

Harvey attempts to buy a limo from an old acquaintance, Cheeky, and tells girlfriend, Kathy Beale, he wants to start a limo business.

However, when Harvey's ex-boss, Kat Slater finds out he is trying to recruit some of Kat's taxi drivers as investors in his new venture, she ain't happy.

In fact, Kat decides to give Harvey a run for his money by starting her own limo service!

Peter Beale and his fiancee, Lauren Branning are at odds again

In the heat of the moment, Peter has blamed recovering addict Lauren for the fact their baby son Jimmy is partially sighted.

But Lauren doesn't help her case after staying out all night, leaving Peter holding the baby!

Peter is shocked when he finds out that Lauren almost relapsed with alcohol at Harry's Barn...

This is all the evidence that Peter needs.

He BREAKS-UP with Lauren and warns her that he intends to fight for custody of both their sons, Louie and Jimmy...

The Albert is under NEW management since Cindy Beale blackmailed former owner Kathy Beale into signing over the business!

Cindy prepares for the re-launch of the pub.

But things turn sour when rivals Cindy and Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) get into an argument outside the Vic.

Once again, Elaine is not happy when her husband George (Colin Salmon) gets involved to keep the peace with his ex-wife, Cindy.

Just where do George's loyalties lie?

A business war is brewing on Albert Square!

Kat Slater and her fella, Alfie Moon are determined to launch their new limo service ASAP.

Kat is determined to beat her former employee, Harvey Monroe to it.

Kat meets with Cheeky to discuss a price for the same limo that Harvey is looking to buy!

Kat agrees to sign a deal but at the last minute, Cheeky reveals she must also take on his silent business partner.

WHO is Kat about to unknowingly go into business with?

So when Alfie plans a fake wedding photoshoot to promote his and Kat's new limo service, it gives him an idea...

Alfie admits to friend Linda Carter that he is thinking about popping the question to his twice ex-wife, Kat!

On Linda's encouragement, Alfie decides to go for it and asks Kat to marry him... again!

WHAT will she say?

Can Peter Beale and his fiancee, Lauren Branning, put their differences aside for the sake of their baby son, Jimmy?

Lauren is still furious after Peter blamed her past addiction problems for causing Jimmy's health condition.

Peter is still convinced that Lauren is hiding something.

So he asks local legal eagle Johnny Carter for some advice about possibly fighting for custody of his two sons, Louie and Jimmy.

Unfortunately, it's not long before word gets back to Lauren about Peter's plan.

Cindy Beale is getting ready for the grand re-opening of The Prince Albert.

Unfortunately, she suddenly finds herself without any bar staff after Felix Baker and Freddie Slater discover they haven't been paid and storm off!

At the Vic, rival pub landlady Elaine Peacock and her daughter Linda are pleased by the news that things are going horribly wrong for hated Cindy!

However, Elaine may not enjoy the last laugh after all, when her husband George takes pity on his ex-wife Cindy and steps in to help...

Why are there a load of Kat Slater lookalikes on the loose in Albert Square

It appears to have something to do with Kat and Alfie Moon's joint stag and hen party!

Now that the couple is engaged (again!) they are wasting no time with the pre-wedding celebrations.

Kim Fox comes up with a theme for the night.

But will things go alright on the night?

Kat's happy bubble is burst when she makes a worrying discovery on the family computer at the Slater house...

Just what has Alfie been up to?

Or is it the couple's teenage son, Tommy who has been up to no good again?

Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) decides to gatecrash Cindy Beale's (Michelle Collins) re-launch party at The Prince Albert.

Elaine is annoyed to see the party is a success while her own planned karaoke party at the Vic is a FLOP!

Cindy enjoys her triumph over pub landlady rival Elaine.

She happily reveals that Elaine's husband/her ex-husband, George Knight helped her out and even paid for extra bar staff to make sure the night was a success!

Elaine storms off to drown her sorrows in the barrel store back at the Vic.

And when George arrives, it looks like he is going to have to seriously talk his way out of TROUBLE!

EastEnders couple Peter Beale and Lauren Branning reach breaking point next week, and their latest row marks the end of their relationship.

As the couple struggle to cope with baby Jimmy's diagnosis and Lauren's addiction continues to drive a wedge between them, is there any hope for the Walford duo?

"After being told that their newborn baby is severely sight impaired, tensions are high between Lauren and Peter," begins our Walford insider.

"Peter in particular is finding things difficult, which is making life at No.25 unbearable for the whole family."

Lauren is overwhelmed with support from the Albert Square locals at the start of the week, but Peter is reluctant to face his neighbours head on.

Desperate times call for desperate measures, as warring Cindy and Kathy Beale team up to help the couple. However, when Peter blames Lauren for Jimmy's condition, all hell breaks loose.

Devastated by her fianc?'s true feelings, Lauren's old habits take hold and she attempts to get a drink at The Vic and Harry's Barn ? but thankfully Linda Carter and Gina Knight refuse to serve her as a recovering addict.

Meanwhile, Cindy comes to the rescue and helps Peter to bond with his son and supports him when Lauren stays out all night. The next day Peter doesn't give Lauren a chance to explain and heads to Jimmy's appointment alone.

Both parents have encouraging experiences: while Lauren has an emotional chat with Honey Mitchell, Peter meets a fellow patient in the hospital who gives him hope for his child's future. But it isn't long before the pair come to blows again?

"Peter finds out that Lauren almost relapsed and is horrified," our source continues.

"He sees this as the final straw, so takes drastic action and ends their relationship. What's more, he makes a bold choice and vows to fight for custody of their two kids. Things are set to get very messy indeed?"

As the dust settles, Kathy encourages Peter to make things right with Lauren. The couple manage to put their differences aside, but Peter's concerns continue as he fears his partner is still hiding something.

Pushing forward with his heartbreaking plans, Peter reaches out to lawyer Johnny Carter for advice on how to tackle his custody fight. But their secret chat is overheard by Honey ? and it comes as no surprise that she soon reports back to Lauren with the bombshell news.

Lauren is stunned by Peter's intentions, so she confronts him and decides to officially end their relationship for good. Is their happily ever after now merely a fairytale?

EastEnders? Alfie Moon surprises Kat Slater next week when he asks her to marry him again ? but things soon take a dark turn.

With wedding planning underway, Kat makes a disturbing discovery about her fianc?, or so she assumes. Is there already trouble in paradise?

"This will be Kat and Alfie?s third attempt at tying the knot," begins our EastEnders insider, "that?s if they actually make it to the big day. They?ve been on and off for 23 years, yet fate always seems to pull them back together. Will it be for keeps this time?"

The inspiration for Alfie?s proposal comes from him and Kat launching a business hiring out swanky limousines. It all starts when Harvey wants to buy a limo from his old mate Cheeky, only to find he can?t afford it.

When the deflated driver tries to rope in fellow cabbies at Kat?s firm as investors, his old boss is fuming, having still not forgiven him for breaking Jean?s heart, and she scuppers his plans.

Following some words of wisdom from Nicola, Harvey decides to ask Kat to be his business partner. She obviously refuses, though it does get her in an entrepreneurial mood.

"Kat wants nothing to do with Harvey," notes our source. "But renting out swanky cars to posh punters sounds lucrative, so she steals Harvey?s idea and decides to set up her own business with Alfie. She tries to strike a deal with Cheeky to buy his motor, but there?s a snag."

Cheeky hikes the price up, so Kat is forced to ask Phil for an advance on her settlement for their impending divorce. She signs on the dotted line, but at the last minute, Cheeky reveals one final catch: if she wants the limo Kat must take on his silent business partner ? who is it?

While Kat reels from the revelation, Alfie plans a photo shoot of a fake wedding to promote their vehicle venture. He has the idea that he and Kat could be the happy couple in the photos, and he confides in pal Linda that he?s thinking of popping the question.

Being a die-hard romantic, Linda urges Alfie to ask his other half to make it official again, so he gets down on one knee at home ? as heartwarming new images revealed over the weekend.

"Alfie seizes the moment and asks Kat to marry him," reveals our insider. "She?s overjoyed ? they?ve had their ups and downs, but this time it feels right. Kat says yes and Alfie is ecstatic."

It looks set to be a very short engagement, as the pair waste no time in throwing a joint stag and hen party in the Vic, and Kat is thrilled when she discovers the theme of the night.

However, the celebrations are curtailed when Kat discovers something sinister on the family computer. She is horrified and assumes Alfie is to blame ? but does she have the wrong end of the stick, and is the engagement over already?
