This is the moment when Coronation Street newcomer Carl Webster finally gives into temptation and leans in for a kiss with Abi, betraying his sick brother Kevin by getting it on with his wife.
After weeks of fighting her sizzling chemistry with Carl, will Abi finally give into her attraction and snog her brother-in-law? Or will she stay faithful and pull away?
"Carl's been dying to kiss Abi. He's been turned on by her spiky attitude and feisty comebacks from the moment they met," our Corrie source explains.
"Abi might be Kevin's wife, but Carl knows the feeling's mutual?"
Ever since their fiery frisson during a car park bust-up, Abi and Carl have been fighting their desire. With Kevin suffering through his cancer treatment, his marriage has hit a rough patch, so Carl's surprise arrival has stirred the pot, leaving Abi confused over her feelings.
Her hostility towards Carl hasn't gone unnoticed by Kevin ? but with his younger brother deciding to stick around in Weatherfield, Abi has no choice but to tolerate his presence. And all that close proximity could prove too tempting to bear?
Their moment of weakness comes after Carl pops over to No.13 with a troubled expression. Abi senses something is bothering him and encourages him to open up, but she might live to regret her show of kindness.
"Carl hopes if he shows Abi a softer side, she'll fall head over heels for him," our insider continues.
"He pretends he's cut up about Kevin's diagnosis, wishing they'd spent more time together in recent years. But really, he's hoping this act will seduce Abi into bed."
Falling for Carl's caring ploy, Abi assures him that he's a decent bloke. As they talk, Abi thaws towards him, apologising for their rocky start and confessing that she's glad he stuck around on the Street.
But as Abi feeds Carl's ego while they sit side by side on the sofa, he takes his chances and move in for a kiss.
"This is everything Abi wants and fears at once," our source shares.
"She knew Carl was trouble from the moment she met him ? because he's irresistible. But will Abi betray Kevin and return Carl's passion?"
Could this be the beginning of an affair that will rip the Websters apart just when Debbie needs them the most?
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday, April 28 on ITV1 and ITVX.

Coronation Street's Debbie Webster finally receives the news she's been dreading next week, as she's officially diagnosed with vascular dementia.
With brother Carl by her side, Debbie vows to keep her illness hidden from the rest of the family, scared of what the future holds. But as she carries this painful secret, how will Debbie react when fianc? Ronnie Bailey makes a huge commitment?
Coronation Street's Sarah Barlow issues a final warning to Todd Grimshaw
"This diagnosis is life-changing for Debbie ? but she's in denial," our Corrie source explains.
"She doesn't want anyone to know she's ill in case they stop thinking of her as the vibrant businesswoman she is."
After several tests and assessments, the day of Debbie's diagnosis arrives and she's forced to lie about it from the off. When Ronnie invites her for lunch she turns him down, claiming she and Carl are going to a meeting, but they're actually headed to the hospital instead.
Finally, Debbie meets with the neurologist and there, her worst fears are confirmed ? she has vascular dementia.
As Debbie struggles to take it all in, the doctor explains that she can carry on as normal for the time being as long as she leads a healthy lifestyle. But Debbie can't face it?
"She can't bear everyone treating her differently," our insider continues. "As soon as Debbie starts telling people she has dementia it becomes real. She's worried they'll pity her and patronise her."
After the diagnosis, Debbie corners Carl, adamant that she wishes to keep the news to herself and doesn't want any of the family knowing. But how will Carl feel keeping this heartbreaking secret under wraps?
Outside the clinic, a woman with dementia approaches Debbie, leaving her shaken. Seeing up close what her future could hold terrifies Debbie, and she's overcome with emotion.
Later at the hotel, Ronnie swings by and excitedly reveals he's put in an offer at No.6 for the two of them to start their married life together in a bigger place. But how will Ronnie react when he knows her future will be cut short?
"Debbie fears she'll lose Ronnie if he knows the truth," our source adds. "She can't bear the thought of deteriorating before his eyes, so she breaks both their hearts ? by ending it."
Later in the week, with their relationship over, Debbie calls round to see heartbroken Ronnie. She returns his belongings and tries to assure him that he's done nothing wrong, blaming herself for the shock change of heart.
Will Ronnie realise there's more behind their broken engagement than she's letting on? And how long can Debbie hide her illness before someone else discovers something's wrong?

Coronation Street's Gary Windass shocks his wife Maria next week ? by revealing his big plans to buy another local business.
In Roy's Rolls, restless Gary confesses to Maria that sales are slow at the furniture shop and he's thinking of selling up and using the money to buy the builder's yard.
Maria's not convinced, though, insisting that they can't afford it?
"While Gary is wrapped up in his dream, Maria is thinking more sensibly," shares our Corrie insider.
"She knows they have Liam to think about and can't afford to make silly decisions that could destroy their financial stability.
"Yet, Gary's got itchy feet and misses the builder's yard he used to manage, so he won't let an opportunity to own it for himself slide!"
It's not long before villainous newcomer Mick Michaelis sticks his oar in and encourages Gary to go ahead with the plans.
When Maria finds the two having a celebratory drink in the Bistro, will she be happy with what they're toasting?
Later, Gary excitedly reassures an unimpressed Maria that he's going to make a success of the builder's yard, though she's less than pleased about any collaboration with Mick.
"Maria couldn't be clearer in telling Mick he's not welcome," our source adds.
"After the trouble she's had with his feisty other half, Lou, the couple aren't in her good books, and she thinks it's a mistake for Gary to trust him."
But when Liam's victimised by bullies in the precinct, and Mick approaches the scene, will he be able to win Maria round by saving her son?
The new storyline will be welcome news for Corrie fans, who'd noticed that popular character Gary had taken a break from the action recently.
Gary hasn't featured on screen since the start of January, when Mason Radcliffe's death episodes aired, but looks set to appear more prominently again as this new plot unfolds.
