Coronation Street's Dylan Wilson finally stands up to bully Brody next week, as the young villain makes homophobic comments about Sean Tully.

After enduring weeks of torment and blackmailing in the Secure Training Centre at the hands of the bad boy, Dylan is pushed over the edge when Brody makes some offensive digs about his dad.

The tormented teen loses his rag and furiously punches Brody, knocking him to the floor before kicking him in an uncharacteristic rage.

"Despite his good nature and the fact that he'd hoped to keep his head down in the STC, Dylan has been singled out by Brody, who is making his life hell.

"Dylan's outburst is overdue ? and quite understandable."

Meanwhile on the street, newcomer Mick Michaelis threatens frightened Sean, forcefully explaining that if he causes Brody any more problems, there'll be hell to pay.

Yet Sean's troubles only get worse when he overhears Gemma Winter-Brown arranging dinner plans with Mick's wife Lou.

"Sean's feeling really lonely and worried about his son, and Gemma's supposed to be his mate, so of course he's absolutely furious," reveals our source.

"He lays down the law and accuses Gemma of siding with the enemy, and she couldn't feel worse about what she's done."

With Sean unable to help his son any further, how will Brody make Dylan pay for his actions? And could the attack mean the unlucky youngster will be forced to endure an extended stint behind bars?

Dylan was sentenced to six months in the STC in February as punishment for his role in Mason Radcliffe's fatal stabbing.

The troubled teen had bought the knife that was used against Mason by his brothers in a terrifying showdown at the precinct. Dylan's sentence was reduced from nine months to reflect his guilty plea.
