The chap who interviewed Lisa is the inspector. However, he should be under no illusion that he's in charge. DC Green is obviously in charge.

On a previous occasion it was Kit the Twit who interviewed her about some other on job indiscretion. Back in the day it had to be someone at least two ranks above who would have been interviewing her.

I'm not sure what difference it would make. If the baby needed a blood transfusion, the hospital would test for blood group and then use blood from the blood bank. I don't think they would tell the parents what the blood group is.
