Neighbours confirms a major change for Vera Punt

Neighbours will air a big change for Vera Punt next week, as the house share gang continue to push to get their older landlord to move out of their home.
After Vera moved into the house with her young tenants Byron Stone, Sadie Rodwell and Max Ramsay Jr, they started to become increasingly irritated by her behaviour.
After they inadvertently upset Vera by making it clear that they don't consider her to be a good friend of theirs, she acknowledged that it would be good to make some new friends her own age and to live with an older housemate.
The share house gang have since started making efforts to encourage Vera to move into retirement complex Eirini Rising, but their plan backfires on them this week when Byron takes things too far and Vera vows not to move.
However, in scenes that will air next Monday (January 27), Vera surprises Byron, Sadie and Max when she reveals that she is reconsidering a move to Eirini Rising after all.
Sadie accompanies Vera on a tour of the complex and its facilities, and Vera soon decides that Eirini Rising is the right place for her after all.
After Terese Willis helps out with the finance side of things, Vera happily signs her contract to move into the retirement complex, and she's soon moving out of the share house.
However, in true Vera style, she's soon upsetting her fellow Eirini residents after she makes her presence felt, and is branded a gossip and a troublemaker by some of her new neighbours.
But Vera isn't bothered by their words, as she cheekily suggests that the place needs a shake-up and she isn't afraid to be the person to do it.
Will Vera manage to make new friends, or will her big move cause her more heartache?

Neighbours releases new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays for free on Amazon Freevee and Prime Video in the UK and US. In Australia, the show airs from Mondays to Thursdays at 4pm on Channel 10, with a 6.30pm repeat screening on 10 Peach Comedy.
