"I think it is one of the most exciting Christmases that I can remember on Emmerdale this year."

I must have missed them all. How many Christmases have they had this year?

Wonder if her and Brenda are discussing Eric and Brenda's wedding when tragedy strikes?

Emmerdale has confirmed its full Christmas and New Year schedule.

The long-running soap will feature prominently in ITV1's line-up for the festive fortnight ? and there are some huge storylines ahead for fans to enjoy.

Emmerdale has episodes slotted in for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.

As with last year, the Christmas Day episode only runs for 30 minutes rather than an hour-long special.

Home Farm queen Kim Tate looks set to take centre stage as her long-running story with her deceitful husband Will Taylor comes to a head.

The full schedule for the festive season follows below.

    Monday, December 23
    7.30pm (30 minutes)

    Tuesday, December 24
    7pm (30 minutes)

    Wednesday, December 25
    6.30pm (30 minutes)

    Thursday, December 26
    6.30pm (60 minutes)

    Friday, December 27

At the weekend, new spoilers revealed that Will is about to take Kim by surprise as he suggests they should renew their wedding vows on Christmas Day.

Kim is overjoyed, unaware that Will is still plotting against her alongside her financial advisor Peter and a mysterious third party.

Emmerdale bosses have also promised a happier Christmas for Belle Dingle following her traumatic year with evil Tom King.

Speaking at the National Television Awards earlier this year, executive producer Iain MacLeod commented: "This Christmas, there is a huge surprise arrival on Christmas Day. PIPER?????

"As well as some life or death jeopardy on Christmas Day ? but obviously there will be festive brilliance as we do every year ? but I think it is one of the most exciting Christmases that I can remember on Emmerdale this year!"
