Very well done Ty, bit of a backbone for once and telling Hope exactly what she is...Fiz might be shocked but has to realise that Hope will never be the good kid she thinks or rather convinces herself she is...

Of course we come to expect the once in a lifetime coincidences that form a staple part of the Corrie scriptwriters' limited armoury, so when Ruby returned home early from school saying, "Some complete plank blocked all the bogs so we were let out early," it was nothing unusual. But it did occur to me later, why even bother to come up with this nonsense? What difference would it have made if she had come home normal time? I'm sure the story of the fire could have played equally as well. I guess they are just addicted to these nonsensical coincidences now.

Incidentally, how does someone (plank or not) actually manage to block up ALL the bogs?

With a great of effort and determination. Depends how many bogs there are.

Perhaps if she had come home at the normal time, the house would have been burnt down. Instead they got away with a fire in a sideboard and it seems not even any smoke damage. Lots of drama, but hardly any damage.

I too have been having trouble thanking recently. Usually I have to log in again every time I do, but recently that has not been working. But when I return to the page the thank you appears, like there is a delayed action.

Hope's problem is that she has never been punished for her bad behaviour

So Jesse makes Gail happy after a couple of years online relationship... suddenly she is the love of his life... ...ok, if it helps the scriptwriters, so be it...

Fizz is a bloody idiot when it comes to Hope.

Although the Gail exit storyline is too silly for words, I hope Gail has a happy ending.
