Charity Dingle pulls a daring stunt for granddaughter Sarah Sugden

Charity Dingle rushes Sarah out of the house with the promise of a proper Dingle experience. It's bound to end in disaster when the Dingles are involved, especially when it's revealed that Charity's so-called Dingle surprise for Sarah is a joyride in a seemingly stolen expensive car.

However, Charity is left guilty when she mocks Vinny Dingle's inexperience compared to Gabby Thomas after they slept together for the first time.

The unlikely couple began to bond a while back after Mandy Dingle asked Gabby to spend some time with lonely Vinny, although things got off to a shaky start when Vinny tried to kiss a mortified Gabby. Gabby's step-mother Laurel Thomas then encouraged her to give good guy Vinny a chance after a string of failed romances.

Their friendship has now turned into a blossoming relationship, but it's been rather overwhelming for Vinny who had to admit that he never slept with anyone before or since his late wife Liv Flaherty.

While Vinny is left hurt by Charity's cruel jibe, Gabby is excited when Laurel suggests the idea of buying her estranged husband Jai Sharma's shares in the Hide amid their ongoing divorce. How will Jai feel being bought out by his former wife?

Tuesday

Jai Sharma can't believe what Laurel Thomas has done

Jai and his soon-to-be ex-wife Laurel are in the midst of a bitter divorce war after Jai confessed that he blackmailed his biological father Amit Sharma into signing over his half of the Hide, leaving half-brother Suni with nothing.

As Laurel recovered in hospital following her shocking heart attack, she told Suni that Jai had conned him out of his inheritance after he discovered that Amit murdered Rishi Sharma.

Suni left the village just as Laurel ended her marriage, but bitter Jai is determined to make Laurel's life a nightmare and make sure she doesn't get anything from the divorce. However, Jai is aghast when Gabby Thomas announces that Laurel is the new investor in the Hide. Will Jai put a stop to Laurel's plans?

Meanwhile, Vinny Dingle is feeling stung after Charity Dingle poked fun at his inexperience compared to his new love interest Gabby. Over the past few months, sparks started to fly between friends Vinny and Gabby as they started to spend more time together. After some encouraging words from step-mum Laurel, Gabby realised that she should give nice guy Vinny a chance given her turbulent love life with toxic men in the past.

As their relationship progressed, the fact that he had not slept with anyone before weighed heavily on Vinny's mind and cruel Charity made a nasty jibe about the subject. But, Charity's comment soon becomes a distant memory when Gabby passionately kisses Vinny and his insecurities melt away.

Wednesday

Jai Sharma gets payback on his ex-wife Laurel Thomas

Jai's vindictive side has reared its ugly head ever since Laurel demanded a divorce. The breakdown of their marriage occurred after Jai admitted that he blackmailed his biological father Amit Sharma into signing over all the shares of the Hide to just him and cutting other son Suni Sharma out of any ownership of the business.

While Laurel recovered in hospital from her heart attack, she came clean to Suni about Jai's deceit and the truth about Amit's exit from the village, which prompted Suni to also leave Emmerdale.

Now that Laurel has ended their relationship, a resentful Jai is determined to not let her have anything from the divorce after some dodgy advice from Caleb Miligan. So when Gabby Thomas reveals that Laurel is the new investor in the Hide, Jai gets his revenge by lying to the mediator that he has sold Holdgate and Tenants to pay off some debts, leaving him with nothing to give Laurel in the divorce.

Laurel is horrified at Jai's new low, but Jai doubts he?s doing the right thing until Caleb puts his mind at rest, insisting he owes Laurel nothing.

Elsewhere, Gabby and Vinny Dingle grow closer as they share a touching moment while pushing her son Thomas Tate on the swings.

Meanwhile, Mandy Dingle discovers it's Ella Forster's 30th birthday tomorrow. But will Ella be in the mood to celebrate given her turbulent time in the village?

Ella Forster lashes out at Wendy Posner

Ella is taken aback when Mandy Dingle surprises her for her birthday, but she's nervous when Mandy offers her a full beauty treatment with before and after pictures. Later on, Ella hits the roof when she sees photos of herself posted on the salon's social media page.

Unable to control her anger, Ella smashes her birthday cake and goes to the footbridge as Liam Cavanagh watches the commotion. Liam consoles an agitated Ella and offers to accompany her to the surprise birthday party. Feeling better from the doctor's support, Ella arrives at her party and does her best to try and enjoy herself while everyone celebrates her day.

Ella starts to relax as the party gets into full swing and she's touched when ex Liam gives her a small star pendant as a gift. However, the party mood soon vanishes when June's nephew Gary interrupts the celebration. Gary aggressively confronts a horrified Ella and gives her a photo of her late friend Joanne, who she killed in a jealous rage when she was younger.

Ella is inconsolable as her world falls apart and rushes out of the party. Gary runs after her and as she falls to the ground, nurse Wendy escorts her away from Gary, who is grief-stricken. As Wendy gently comforts Ella in the waiting room, Ella suddenly explodes and attacks her. Will someone help Wendy before it's too late?

Will Taylor is in turmoil after daughter Dawn Taylor tells him that she needs to contact Rose about baby Evan's emergency

It's safe to say that the Taylor-Tate family have been through the wars over the past few months. Not only was Dawn's baby son Evan diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL), but she also had to deal with the unexpected arrival of her estranged mother Rose.

Rose rekindled her relationship with Dawn and began to form the family bond she always wanted when she moved into Home Farm. However, there was a dark secret to her arrival as she was conspiring with Ruby Fox-Miligan to destroy Kim Tate's life and even slept with her married ex Will as part of the plan.

Kim soon copped on to Rose's scheme and she went missing after being dumped in the middle of nowhere by Kim and Will. After the couple drove away, a mystery vehicle pulled up to where Rose was and vanished, with her belongings left on the side of the road. Dawn has grown concerned about her mum's vanishing act and Will has been in constant fear that his secret one night stand will be exposed and the fact he and Kim were the last ones to have seen her.

The situation becomes even worse when Dawn tells Will that Evan might need a bone marrow transplant and needs to get in touch with Rose. Will reels at Dawn's bombshell and is filled with anxiety when he retrieves Rose's phone and listens to a voicemail from Dawn. As he tries to contact Kim again, a guilt-ridden Will sends a message on Rose's phone. How far will he go to protect his sordid secret?
