Feeling relieved to have finally addressed the issue of Tom's awful mood swings, anger and violence, Belle's encouraged when he makes an appointment with GP Liam.
But Tom's session with the doc is anything but truthful or healing as he twists the truth, making out Belle has a terrible temper and is exhibiting signs of coercive control.
Meanwhile, unaware of what Belle is going through at home, Lydia and Mandy are starting to worry about her as she doesn't seem herself.
Later, Belle's feeling on edge as the family gathers for dinner, worried about what mood her husband will be in. But Tom plays nice around the table and later tells his wife that his counselling went well.

With Dawn permanently stationed in hospital with the baby, dad-of-three Billy is ferrying to and fro from home to the ward.
As Dawn breaks down on her husband, confessing that she feels Evan's illness is her fault, overwhelmed Billy fears he's not doing enough to support his wife.
Billy breaks down in the hospital corridor, overwhelmed by the situation he and Dawn have found themselves in since Evan was diagnosed with leukaemia

Emmerdale's Mandy Dingle starts to wonder if Ella's on the level
The reason Ella Forster reacted so weirdly when Liam asked if he could stay at her house becomes clear when Manpreet finds their receptionist sleeping in her car.
The GP is out for a morning run when she finds Ella bedded down in her vehicle.
Ella is mortified and begs her colleague not to tell Liam but Manpreet later lets it slip?
Concerned for his girlfriend, Liam offers her the spare room at Tenant's which is where Mandy comes into the picture.
As she helps her friend load her stuff into Liam's place, Mandy casually picks up a photograph and asks Ella about it.
Ella's far from happy about the intrusion and leaves Mandy stung when she bites her head off.
Has the receptionist got something more she's hiding?
Baffled by her over-reaction Mandy's left feeling unsure about her so-called friend?
Elsewhere Ruby and Caleb are disgusted and furious when they spot Ethan in the village.
With him having crashed their son Nicky's car and left him unconscious at the scene, the parents are raging at the sight of the solicitor and desperate to make him suffer.
Can Charles calm down the situation and dilute the anger the Miligans feel towards his guilt-ridden son?
At Butler's, Moira and Cain are worried about how attached Isaac has become to Minty the lamb.

Ethan Anderson is the subject of a hit and run
It's time for the village fete and the locals are buzzing.
But Charles wonders where his son Ethan has got to when he fails to surface among the crowd.
As the fun unfolds all sorts is going on.
A photographer is there soaking up the action but when he tries to snap a pic of Ella, she refuses... Is this another sign that the receptionist is shady?
Mandy certainly thinks so and warns Liam to make sure he knows a lot more about Ella before he gets any more serious with her.
Moira and Cain have an issue on their hands as Isaac's pet lamb goes missing.
But when a search party starts looking high and low, Charity and Mack are found having some 'alone time' in a barn!
Meanwhile, on the outskirts of the village, Ethan is suddenly and deliberately mown down by a car and left bloodied and bruised on the tarmac.
Ethan manages to stir and limp towards home.
As he stumbles in to the village, the party comes to standstill when the solicitor looms into view and collapses on the ground!
From a distance, Cain, Caleb and Ruby watch on, unmoved by Ethan's plight. Have they exacted revenge for what Ethan did to Nicky?
Will Ethan survive his ordeal?

Emmerdale's Belle King just can't take any more of Tom's abuse
Belle is in a reflective mood as the anniversary of her beloved mum Lisa's death rolls around.
As the family comes up with the idea to commemorate her with a picnic, Tom is in earshot and decides he doesn't want his wife attending.
Determined to keep her away from her loved ones, controlling Tom tells Belle he needs her to stay at home as he's expecting a delivery that needs signing for.
Thinking that's sorted, Tom trudges off to work where a dark mood descends as his work is reviewed.
The vet doesn't take his bosses' constructive criticism at all well. And as he is storming home, furious, his anger increases when he spots Belle in the Hide, clearly having defied his instructions to wait in at Dale Head.
As the couple walk home, Tom spews nasty comments at Belle, blaming her for his bad day. But when the vet then starts on her mum Lisa, Belle can't take any more.
Snapping, she shoves her husband who falls to the ground, much to the shock of Rhona, Vanessa and Marlon who are nearby.
Will Belle's long overdue show of frustration be the start of her salvation ? or make matters a whole lot worse?
Elsewhere, Ella rushes off when Liam starts asking questions and is later seen at a care home visiting an elderly resident called June. Is she Ella's mum?

Are Emmerdale's Ella Forster's secrets about to surface
It all started out so positively for Ella Forster.
Having befriended Mandy Dingle at a vets' do, she ended up living in Emmerdale.
Then having bagged a job as a receptionist at the GPs', Ella made Dr Liam her boyfriend.
She's since become everyone's friend and confidante and has seemed perfectly kind, organising girls' nights out and dishing out advice to her new mates.
But the shine started to come off of the squeaky-clean receptionist this week.
First there was Mandy Dingle who was thrown to have a taste of Ella's surly side and had her head bitten off. Then there was Liam whose suggestion for a sleepover at Ella's place was swerved. Then Manpreet found Ella sleeping in her car.
Ella then refused to have a photo taken at the village fete and has been seen visiting an elderly lady at a care home.
But why is she being so secretive about her personal life? Is she just super private or has she got something to hide? And are we all about to find out if she's a shady lady?
In the Woolpack, Caleb's chuffed to see his sister Chas is home from Scotland while his feisty wife Ruby is rattled by the contents of a mysterious text message? What's she up to now?
