Bernice must be the stupidest person ever to run a B&B. In a village with no cultural attractions except the countryside, she opens a B&B where she concentrates on furnishing it with unnecessary nick nacks and fripperies. We see hikers and cyclists passing through the village, who are far more likely to be customers for the B&B, and would probably not be seeking the level of luxury that Bernice was wanting to offer. Instead of a "Dame Judi Dench" room perhaps she should have offered a"Bradley Wiggins".

So Nicola has now taken over Bernice's share of the B&B, but left the loan in her own name. Meaning she now has a record of defaulting on repayments and having the Bailiffs called in, not sure this is the best way to start of in a new business.

and Nicola is not the legal part owner of the B&B. Nothing has been signed.

So all Nicola has gained from this experience is a poor credit rating.

Why didn't Gabby pay off her debts? What a shoddy exit for Bernice, she deserved better.

Who lived in the empty house Bernice was hiding in? Was it Dan's house or Diane's?

Now that Bernice has gone, that will give the B&B one more room to let. It's no wonder that the B&B was not making money when half the rooms must have been occupied by Bernice, Bob and Wendy and Kathy and Heath. I reckon that was four rooms and I think there was only seven, although I may be wrong.
