Not only is he not innocent, he is pretty stupid, if you pull a knife on someone you must be prepared to use it, you cannot rely on it scaring them. Not only that, you do not hold it out in front of you body, making it easier to be grabbed. You hold it back closer to you so that you can extent your arm into the other person. Jacob may have meant well but he went out in anger, not really knowing what he was getting into, Callum might well have had a gun. You do not bring a knife to a gun fight.
