He said he did not mind spending money on Eileen, but a dolls house sofa costs about ?20, a real one over a ?1000 at least, so it seems he was not prepared to spend very much on her after all. Surely the price alone should have been a clue. Idea stolen from a woman who was reported to have bought doll's house garden furniture by mistake, and Sarah Pascoe who bought a miniature chest of drawers on a late night eBay auction after drinking, as shown on "Would I Lie to You".
