In reddit i read Andrew Scarborough was told his contract wasn't been extended due to his character been killed off, I doubt emmmerdale producers expected story to leak out,but I personally really liked his character and will be gutted he won't kill al and get a better ending typical emmerdale all Kate Brooks cares about is lesbian vanity
