I believe Billy voluntarily "de-frocked himself", ( if there is such a thing ?) after he declared to the Bishop he'd lost his calling as a priest. Good thinking Tammy about the chippy job , never thought about that, be more food on the floor I guess let alone the dangers of hot fat if he loses his balance.

Did Harriet not voice those concerns but was not de-frocked??? I can imagine that the church would spend a lot of time with somebody doubting their faith but then of course this is soapland where things progress rather faster ...
