EastEnders' Carter clan will finally have something to smile about later this month as Johnny makes his long-awaited return to Walford.
Johnny arrives back home as the family try their best to cheer up Linda, who's endured a difficult start to the year due to baby Ollie's recent accident.
Linda (Kellie Bright) is pleased to have a rare chance to let her hair down when Mick arranges a karaoke night at The Vic, but she's unaware that he also has another surprise up his sleeve.
When the fun event gets under way, Linda is overjoyed when Johnny surprises her by paying a very unexpected visit.
Although everyone is pleased to see Johnny, it's bittersweet for Linda as he still has no idea about everything that happened with Dean in his absence. It's only a matter of time before Linda will have to be honest with her son, but how will he take it?

Johnny is now played by newcomer Ted Reilly, who's taking over the role from Sam Strike.
