The Windasses were introduced as a scumbag family who got Joe to build them a new kitchen and refused to pay for it (causing him to spiral into debt and accidentally kill himself). Of course, they were given character transplants when they moved to Coronation Street, and I must confess to quite liking Anna for a while. She's reverted back to type nowadays.
