Laptop Trouble

thanks for the advice guys, theres no beeping on the start alan. Still no joy so im taking it to the shop tomorrow. The cooling things seem a good idea, i think i will invest.

Before you do just check the fan as there may be fluff round the blades. A simple vacuum might be all that it needs especially if you use the laptop a lot on your knee or even in bed.
