I think in the case of suspicious moles doctors will always try to remove them straight away rather than waiting for an appointment when things could have got worse.

That's quite shocking that you can't get an appointment until Tuesday. At my practice we can only book appointments for the day that you ring up, unless it's a medication review which can be booked up to a week in advance.

Like Dave said, keep positive. You're very young to get skin cancer.
