You have to pick a subject to specialise in, which will probably be one of your A Levels, or Gifted & Talented or Special Needs. Some unis make you pick that to start with when you apply, and some make you pick once you've started. The entry requirements are pretty low, it mainly is work experience that counts. I know someone who got BCDe, and is now a teacher at a very good primary school. And she got her job before she even graduated!

EDIT: She specialised in ICT, by the way.

yeh from what ive heard about primary school teaching you need at least 5 gcses grade C or above including maths, english and i think science as well, and i think you have to have done a national curriculum subject at alevel. i dont think it really matters how varied the subjects are, just as long as all your subjects werent things like sociology/psychology/media etc. if in doubt though, check on the uni or ucas website cos that will tell you what each specific uni requires
