EastEnders has confirmed its full scheduling details for the Christmas and New Year period.

The Walford soap is sure to provide unmissable television over the festive period this year, as we finally get answers over the dead body mystery involving 'The Six'.

As always at Christmas, there are some schedule changes for fans to keep track of.

Although the show retains its regular 7.30pm slot for most of the holidays, it'll air later in the evening than usual on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Christmas week is also a five-episode week, giving fans even more Albert Square drama to enjoy.

The full schedule for the festive season follows below.

    Monday, December 25
    9.45pm (Hour-long)

    Tuesday, December 26
    8.25pm (35 minutes)

    Wednesday, December 27
    7.30pm (30 minutes)

    Thursday, December 28
    7.30pm (30 minutes)

    Friday, December 29
    7.30pm (30 minutes)

    Monday, January 1
    7.30pm (30 minutes)

    Tuesday, January 2
    7.30pm (30 minutes)

    Wednesday, January 3
    7.30pm (30 minutes)

    Thursday, January 4
    7.30pm (30 minutes)

Discussing the ongoing mystery over who dies, EastEnders' executive producer Chris Clenshaw recently told Digital Spy: "I think at the moment it really could be any of them, couldn't it? It could be any man in Walford. But as we head towards Christmas, it will become apparent and it will become very clear who the potential body is ? not who the body actually is, but who the potential ones we're looking at are and the ones that it could be.

"It will be narrowed down ? it will be clear who it could be from a small number of people. At the moment it literally could be anyone from Winston to Grant, let's say, but it will become more apparent on who the potential bodies are."
