He then talks about how Ross is a misfit with not a lot of people to talk to and no connection. Yet, nothing gets said about Robert who only currently has Victoria and Diane.
Everything bad Ross has done has all been driven by his hate for Pete and wanting to get revenge on the brother that left him for dead. Everything bad Robert has done has purely been about trying to keep his affair secret and to get as much money off the Whites as possible. Yes he may not of meant to kill Katie but he pushed her around threatened her and would quite clearly of done everything to hide the fact that he is gay. I like both Ross and Robert but to say one is a social misfit and the other isn't just ddoesn't make sense.

There were no inconsistencies in what I posted about Ross being a misfit and for his current situation.

He currently has a very unstable life and unclear future with no obvious way of things improving for him. His present job has only been for several days and is paying a reduced wage with a boss who doesn't like him and who would prefer to get rid of him. Ross has just lost his place of residence in Debbie's house and he has a kid (which may or may not be his) which no-one in his working family can easily take care of during weekdays when he is at work. The other villagers seem very reluctant to involve themselves with him or offer any help right now too. And then there are the dodgy things he's done and I imagine yet to come, based on previous form.

I mentioned only Ross because my comments were focussed on him and it is the Ross Barton thread.

I still wonder if Ross is really James's son at all as he is so different to James, Pete and Finn. I think Ross, James and Moses should each have a DNA test to check whether they are actually blood-related family members.

Telly Watcher, do you read what we write? You NEVER actually respond to what we actually point out.

We didn't say that there are inconsistencies with what you post about Ross. We know that you don't like Ross and we are fine by that. We said there are inconsistencies with your views overall. Seriously your hatred for Ross or maybe your extreme love for Robert, is that over the top and quite sad to be honest. It's made you that deluded that you hate the actor that plays Ross and believe he is responsible for the attacks in France because his character promotes violence!!! (think that is worthy of three exclamation marks, don't you?)

Fine! You believe Michael Parr is responsible for the attacks. Our point is why haven't you posted that Ryan Hawley should be equally responsible in the Robert thread then?. You've admitted to liking Robert which is another violent character. That is why we find your views inconsistent. You post the same thing over and over in this thread about how Ross is a thug and should be punished but you don't say a thing in the Robert thread which makes it hard for us to really take your views seriously anymore. Just the views of an extreme Robert fan.

Now you are just grasping. The show has not even brought up the possiblity (yet) that James is not Ross' father. Why even bother mentioning it? Just for the sake of trying to put Ross down as a character. It's pointless and again just proves my point that your hatred for Ross/Love for Robert is that extreme you are making up storylines in your head about Ross just to put him down.

As far as we know ross is but Charity could have lied or be unsure herself? We might just see another secret DNA test to find out real daddy

I think Charity is going to claim that Cain is the father and Emma makes Ross do a DNA test behind Charity's back.

To be fair I think you may have a point about Ross not being James', maybe Emma never had PTSD I think it may of just been the guilt of cheating on James that led her to try and kill Ross.
