I think Michael Paar will leave in a couple of years, I rember reading something ages ago when he said he has other ambitions and doesn't want to constantly be in the show.

I read he wants to be in it as long as Jeff Hordley. I think he'll stay as long as he's wanted there, he seems happy in the job, with the character and has good friends there

I think he will be a character that will come and go over the years like Cain did, with Moses there he has a permanent link to the show.

Yep, hopefully there will be less affairs and casual shootings when the new producer arrives, which isn't likely as he is from Hollyoaks.

I'm very sceptical of this guy coming from Hollyoaks, that show's a farce, a long way from it's beginning, god help Emmerdale is all that comes to mind, I shudder to think of the damage set to be done, be worse than the floods

The headline of that article is for dramatic effect but the video did sound quite positive. (bit of a dodgy recording though) I suppose it's the same for a lot of the characters. Nobody actually knows what's ahead unless they are the boss. I'm sure it is helpful that he is a popular character and that the awards he has won help with publicity for the show. Sounds like he is content but we will just have to wait and see. I think they just have to bring him in a bit. Have him have some more scenes with his family and a bit lighter material for a bit. I think we will notice a change when Debbie leaves. He will have to interact with others more for a start
