Coming up on Emmerdale, Charity Dingle faces a very uncertain future as her trial begins.
Although determined to remain positive, Charity (Emma Atkins) is terrified as she faces the judge and jury, seeking solace in her ex-partner Cain.
Charity isn't the only one riddled with nerves as Sam (James Hooton) is also plagued with uncertainty while he prepares to take the stand.
Once in court, Sam is visibly struggling with which way to go whilst and he looks over at Charity, who fears that he might be able to exact his final revenge.

As the prosecution continue to question Sam, Charity is forced to cover her unease as he struggles to lie.
Things looks bleak for Charity as the prosecution paints her in a damning light, but she is given fresh hope when it is Rakesh's turn to cross-examine Sam.
As the trial continues, a reluctant Sam finally comes through and lies for Charity by insisting that Declan set her up, leaving Charity hopeful that things could go her way.
Finally, it is Charity's turn to take to the stand and she delivers a perfect, emotional testimony to the jury. Afterwards, Rakesh is satisfied that they have done enough to allow her to walk free, but what will the verdict be?
The trial continues.

A nervous Charity heads into court and feels the pressure as the prosecution present her case to the jury. Later that afternoon, Charity arrives home and defiantly toasts her trial, which rattles Ali. Soon Ali tells a shocked Sam that Rachel could even be dead because of what Charity did.
Feeling torn, Sam confronts Charity, who is thrown by his change of attitude. She is left uneasy when Sam makes no promises about backing her up at her trial. As the day continues, Charity is scared to arrive at a realisation about her feelings towards Cain.
Meanwhile, Val is impressed with how Tracy deals with a difficult customer, suggesting there may be more work for her after all. Soon afterwards, Tracy arrives with the money she owes the Dingles, but Sam is left further confused when Kerry insists he steer clear of Tracy. Later, Tracy makes a show of leaving the village in front of Sam, but will he be swayed and ask her to stay?
Elsewhere, Emma surprises Finn and Ross by arriving on their doorstep. Finn is relieved, while Ross is curious that she came back at his request. Emma seems wary around Ross, especially when he questions her about what makes him so special to her. Will Emma shed any light, or will Ross be left with questions unanswered?
Also today, Moira is stunned when Cain reveals that they will be looking after Noah if Charity is sent to prison.
Finally, Aaron is pleased when Robert offers to book them a hotel room for the night, while Val and Pollard are disgusted to see the scrapyard is going to be close to their home.

Charity tries to remain upbeat for Noah before her court hearing. At the same time, Cain is oblivious to how much comfort Charity is taking from his support and their closeness. Later, Charity prepares to confess her true feelings to Cain, but a suspicious Chas interrupts them. Will Charity get to explain her feelings to him?
Meanwhile, Sam is worried about his day in court and is plagued by uncertainty. At court, Charity's confession is deemed inadmissible, but as Sam watches on, he is still struggling over which way to go.
When the prosecution question Sam, he struggles to lie about Declan and the prosecution seems satisfied that Charity is being painted in a damning light. Next it's Rakesh's turn to cross-examine Sam. Even though it pains him, he finally comes through and lies for Charity, insisting that Declan set her up. Charity is left feeling hopeful things could go her way.
Afterwards Sam feels terrible as Ali is annoyed, insisting that Rachel deserved the truth. Charity is next to take to the stand and delivers her emotional testimony to the jury. Charity pitches her testimony perfectly, and Rakesh is satisfied that they've done enough. But have they?
Elsewhere, Ross and Finn both struggle with their mum's rejection, but Ross suspects there's something Emma is keeping from him. Soon Ross is given the resolve to help win Emma back and he convinces Finn they need to try again with her. Ross isn't proposing a normal approach, instead suggesting they scare her by staging a burglary on her property. Finn is incredulous and is worried that Ross's plan will end in disaster. Will it?
Also today, April and Amelia are wary as they consider Pearl being a werewolf. Mischievous Gabby takes delight in scaring April further, reminding her that tonight is a full moon. Later, Paddy is guilty to realise that he is to blame for April believing Pearl is a werewolf.
Finally, Aaron and Robert enjoy a newfound intimacy, but will Aaron struggle over jealousy when Robert returns to Chrissie?

Later, a surprised James spots Emma. She is awkward to see him and is shocked by what he tells her. Emma is left thoughtful when James makes a surprising suggestion.
Meanwhile, Cain is brooding. Chas worries, while Moira feels sidelined by him.
Elsewhere, Nicola is pleased when Jimmy tells her that he is moving his business out of the house. Later, Jimmy surprises Nicola with champagne and she steels herself as she suggests they take it upstairs.
Also, Sam and Tracy prepare a birthday party for Samson, but Zak is not pleased about their growing friendship.

Emma learns about Donna and her heart breaks for Ross's loss. She tries to talk to Pete, but he won't forgive her for what she did. However, Emma is relieved when he says that he won't stop her from staying in the village.
Later in The Woolpack, Finn tells Ross that their mum has decided to stay. Will Emma try to manipulate her knowledge about Donna to build bridges with Ross?
Meanwhile, Jimmy tries to reassure Nicola after their afternoon of passion didn't work out, but she has got a secret worry.
Elsewhere, Adam asks Moira to buy back his share of the farm so he can buy Pollard's silence over the scrapyard.
Also, in a bid to keep Katie's prying eyes away from him and Aaron, Robert tells an apologetic Katie that she can call by later to go over details of the farm deal, leaving Chrissie incredulous.

While Andy and Chrissie talk business, Katie warns Robert that she is still watching him. Afterwards, Chrissie has a private word with Katie, suggesting they could be friends if Katie would get off her high horse.
Katie warns Chrissie that she was wrong about Alicia but it doesn't mean she's wrong about Robert. Will her words have any impact on Chrissie?
Meanwhile, Tracy apologises to Sam for the way she treated him before she left and they kiss until they are interrupted…
Elsewhere, Jimmy buys Nicola a remembrance tree, thinking they can plant it for the baby to cheer her up, but Bernice suggests a tree won't help. It's not long before Jimmy is pushing Nicola to find out what is wrong.

Does Charity get sent down?
Wish some of them could come and sit in my house and watch the prog with me. I'm sure things would be much clearer and stop some of them fromdoing some of the crazy things they are inevitably going to do. And they could have a drink and a chat about everything............
