Deirdre finds a key piece of evidence.
Hungover Gary has a rude awakening.
And Steve runs away from his 40th.

A stunned Gary meets Kal’s daughter.

Monday

Hour-long episode


Peter hits Rob
It's the day of Tina's funeral. Peter secretly knocks backs the vodka and tells Deirdre that he's going to the service. However, as David reads his eulogy, he spots Peter at the back of the church. Pointing an accusing finger at him, David tells the congregation that Tina would still be here if it weren't for him.

As the mourners gather round the graveside, Peter drunkenly stumbles towards Carla, but Rob steps in and a fight breaks out. Peter tells the shocked mourners that Tina ruined his life and now they're even, but as the police arrest Rob and Peter, has Peter dug his own grave with his recent admission?

Meanwhile, Kal vents his emotions on a punch bag in the gym while his dad tries to offer him some words of comfort. Realising life is too short, Leanne approaches Kal outside the gym. Will Tina's death bring them back together?

Elsewhere, Steph, Luke and Katy hold their own wake for Tina in the flat. Luke tells Katy that he likes her and they are about to kiss when Steph walks in. They spring apart embarrassed.


Wednesday

Carla tells Rob and Michelle that she intends to get the factory back on track and she apologises to the workers for the awful things she said.

When Rob talks to Tracy about Tina's funeral, it's clear that he found it deeply upsetting - but something in his voice unnerves Tracy...

Meanwhile, Izzy is hurt when Gary refuses to babysit, telling her that he has already made plans. Confiding in Katy, Izzy admits that she is worried her and Gary are drifting apart. At the same time, Gary is desperate to give Izzy a wide berth and persuades Jason to go for a few drinks with him. Whilst out he chats up a girl called Alya and makes out that he's single. When Alya suggests they go home together, will Gary accept?

Elsewhere, Nick is taken aback when Leanne tells him that she spent the night with Kal. Feeling angry, Nick marches up to Leanne and Kal and tells them that he's filing for divorce on the grounds of adultery.

Also today, a guilty Kylie admits to David that she posted a spoof letter to Michael, suggesting him and Gail should get together.

Finally, Liz and Eileen plan a surprise 40th birthday party for Steve.


Friday

Gary is mortified when he realises that he spent the night with Alya. Quickly throwing his clothes on, he tells Alya that he works for a bank and is late.

Later at the gym, Izzy comes to collect Gary, but he is stopped in his tracks when Kal's daughter walks in - it's Alya…

Meanwhile, Steve is clearly depressed at turning 40. Wanting to be on his own, he tells Lloyd that he's going to drive a customer to the airport. Lloyd tells Steve that he can't as Liz and Michelle have organised a surprise party for him, but it's the last thing Steve wants and he sets off. When Michelle and Liz find out that Steve isn't coming, Michelle decides to lure him back by posing as a customer, but will her plan work?

Elsewhere, Deirdre finds Steph's charm bracelet in the ginnel. Unaware of whom it belonged to, she takes it home and places it on the side, but Peter moves it unwittingly - leaving his fingerprints all over it.

Also, Gail is stunned when Michael calls at Number 8.

Finally, Leanne and Nick row over their divorce and Nick insists he'll see she gets nothing.


Friday (2)

Gary is horrified to discover that Alya is Kal's daughter. Taking her to one side, he begs her not to tell Izzy of their one-night stand.

Later, Gary is uncomfortable when Izzy drags him out for a drink with Katy and Alya. When Alya corners him in the Rovers back yard, will Gary be forced to question his relationship with Izzy?

Meanwhile, Steve is annoyed to discover that he's been set up and his passenger is Michelle. He tells Michelle that he's a waste of space and lists all the mistakes in his life. Can Michelle persuade Steve to attend his party, or is he set on wallowing in his own self-pity?

Elsewhere, Gail is horrified when an embarrassed Michael shows her the love letter which she supposedly wrote to him. She is furious when she finds out that it was Kylie who wrote it as a joke.

Also, Tracy admires Steph's charm bracelet and claims it as her own.

Finally, Sally is peeved when Carla tells her that she can apply for the new PA role, as Sally assumed it would be hers.

Good luck in divorce court Nick. Leanne built up the bistro when he was in a coma, and then in rehab recovering. And as busy as she was - she still found time to visit Nick in hospital. Plus she sacrificed her time with Simon to spend time with Nick in hospital and in recovery. And as I recall she didn`t get a word of thanks for it either.
If it wasn`t for Leanne, the bistro would have closed down months ago. Leanne deserves 50% of the business, and half of the profits too.
