Aaron Livesy is confused about his sexuality after he tries to kiss his girlfriend’s brother.
As our sensational picture shows the troubled teenager leans in to kiss Adam Barton as they head home after a night out.
Hunky Adam is horrified at his mate and pulls away in disgust.
But for Aaron it’s the start of his turmoil as he tries to come to terms with his feelings.
Having spent months chasing Adam’s sister Holly he can’t understand why he’s attracted to her brother. Especially as his pursuit has paid off and the two are now an item.
An Emmerdale insider said: “The kiss happens in the heat of the moment. Aaron is driving Adam home when they narrowly miss hitting another car.
“The car stops and Adam checks out a cut on Aaron’s head. At that point Aaron leans in for the kiss.
“Adam can’t believe what his mate is doing and Aaron is stunned by his own actions.
“The storyline is the start of an emotional journey for Aaron. He hates the thought of being gay and doesn’t know what to do.
“It’s going to be a tough time for him. He’s got no one to confide in.”

After witnessing Aarons kiss with Jackson, Adam hopes he can be there to support Aaron as he struggles to come to terms with his sexuality. However Danny reckons that his alter ego won't welcome any efforts to encourage him. "Adam later tells Aaron that he isn't bothered by his relationship with Jackson and still wants to be mates" Danny reveals . "That's the complete opposite of what Aaron was expecting and not what he wants at all. He hopes Adam will be angry with him becuase Aaron thinks he deserves it. So he just completely blanks Adam and makes it clear he wants nothing to do with him anymore"
Instead of being honest with his family Aaron tries to commit suicide as events threaten to expose his secret and he resorts to violence once again.
Emmerdale character Aaron Livesy will try to kill himself in an upcoming episode.
Aaron, played by Danny Miller, will make the suicide attempt to stop people discovering that he is gay, The Sun reports.
He punches his new boyfriend Jackson Walsh to stop him revealing their relationship, meaning that he gets in trouble with the police. When he is released, he decides to gas himself in his car to stop people asking questions about his sexuality.
"It's make or break time, but Aaron is terrified of what the future holds, and he feels ending it all is the only way out," Miller explained. "It's like he's been backed into a corner."
Aaron is rescued and taken to hospital, where he eventually comes round. However, he still fears that people will find out that he is gay.
"He feels a mixture of raw emotions, really," Miller continued. "Scared, angry, depressed. He tells Paddy he wishes he was dead.
"Ironically, this marks the start of Aaron's journey, not the end as he intended. He's going to have to come to terms with who he is."
The scenes will air later this month.
DESPERATE gay teenager Aaron Livesy is carried motionless from a car when he attempts suicide rather than face up to his sexuality.
Slipping away ... Aaron tries to gas himself
The mechanic tries to gas himself after learning his mum Chas knows he's gay.
But his uncle Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) and pal Adam Barton (Adam Thomas) find the unconscious youngster and rush him to hospital.
Actor Danny Miller, who plays Aaron, told TV Biz: "Aaron really wants to die - this isn't a cry for help."
It's touch and go whether he'll pull through at the end of this month.

Emmerdale's Danny Miller has confessed that his alter ego Aaron Livesy will continue to fight his sexuality in the coming weeks.
The 19-year-old actor also revealed the consequences of Aaron's violent outburst in The Woolpack, which is shown in tomorrow night's episode of the Yorkshire soap.
He told TV Times: "If Aaron doesn't admit that he's gay, proving it wasn't a homophobic attack [against Jackson], then he faces six to 12 months inside.
"So during his final plea, he says, 'Jackson came to see me because he's gay - and I'm gay'. It's a massive step, the most unlikely way to come out."
The star added of Aaron's relationship with Jackson: "He's not necessarily in love with him, but he still has feelings for him, and will try to fight for him.
"He's got a way of bringing people in, then pushing them away. It would be too ideal if he and Jackson settled down. I'm not saying that I don't want Aaron to settle down, but maybe in a few years' time."
