but as you say she has got over that, won the publics hearts and got a big fanbase now, i think also the way she handled Ashely's affair has done her a lot of favours, she didnt dump him, take his money and slag him off like Jordan, she worked at her marraige and forgive him

Why do so many people dislike Cheryl?

I don't dislike her as such, I just think she is really overhyped. She's a pretty face and adds to the image of The X Factor, but I wouldn't say she is overly talented. She seems like a nice woman now, casting aside the whole toilet attendant incident.

It's just when I hear words like "Cheryl's a genius" or "she's the nation's princess" where I really, really cringe. I'd call someone like Shakespeare a genius, not a talent show judge.

The "nation's princess" comment makes out like the whole nation loves her, when that isn't the case.
