Monday 23rd March
Dan and Libby’s happiness seems complete when they are inspired to name their daughter after Susan’s mother. Their joy is in stark contrast to Declan and Bridget who clash over Bridget’s determination to put their baby up for adoption. Frustrated, Declan secretly indulges his need to nurture. Bridget finds out and it brings to a head the lie Declan is being forced to live.
Tuesday 24th March
Libby is rushed to hospital where she and Dan face an anxious wait to see if their baby will survive. Dan urges his unborn child to keep fighting, but her heartbeat slows and eventually stops. In her grief, Libby clings to the hope that she and Dan will be able to try for another baby. Dan works hard to be strong for his wife but in private he cracks and only Lucas sees his pain.
Wednesday 25th March
Lucas finds himself completely out of his emotional depth when faced with his brother’s loss. When Elle tries to provide support, he blows the moment by turning it into a kiss. After being set straight on his motivation by Rebecca, Elle takes a massive leap of faith and declares her love for him. Will her declaration be returned?
Thursday 26th March
Miranda’s overjoyed when Paul finally offers her a job at Lassiters. When Bridget and Declan have to skip out on a family dinner Steve and Miranda are left to dine with each other. After a pleasant evening together, Steve misinterprets Miranda’s positivity as a go-ahead for a kiss.
Friday 27th March
After taking the courage to bare their souls to one another, Elle and Lucas reunite. They then struggle to adapt to the new dynamics of their relationship. Paul worries that Elle’s happiness may be short lived. He warns Lucas that Elle needs someone who won’t hurt her. And he doesn’t believe Lucas is that man. What will this mean for their fragile relationship?
