It's a quiet morning in the Emergency Department (ED), but Simon's arrival sets Charlie on edge and it's not long before they clash, as the popular medical drama continues. Charlie discovers that Simon is hosting a drinks party for the doctors, and he has been given some free televisions as part of an equipment order. However, Charlie is suspicious and, in his mind, there's evidence of bribery.
Elsewhere, a little girl found in her nightie is brought into the ED by Ian, who seems to be hiding something. The race is on when the little girl says her "Nana wouldn't wake up", and Dixie and Maggie go out in the Rapid Response Vehicle to try to find her – putting themselves at risk in the process.
At the end of an exhausting day, Charlie offers to take Maggie out, but his hopes are dashed when she gets roped into baby-sitting.
