wednesday night was so cute - phil running round to make sure she was ok , and sam shouting no when she thought cheryl was gonna blow phil up i love them both

i hate myself fo saying this, but i have a horrible feeling that the writers are just gonna keep them as friends now, at least for a while anyway. i really hope i'm wrong though!!! sam and phil forever!

yeah i agree, but i was thinking and phil has already worked under sam as DI hasn't he? well, acting DI anyway, whereas stuart hasn't. mind you, they weren'y really the best of friends when she was DI was she?

watching last nights episode, where sam was being kinda mean to jo, who is supposed to be her friend, i hope she doesn't let the power go to her head and get all mean. she was probably just being professional and i'm over-reacting!

or maybe the power should go to her head and then, phil can come to her rescue

i thought the same with how he treated jo that she was letting it get to her head but she is probably proving she is a good DI as she has already lost her position once and she refereed to herself as DS Nixon at one point
and the writers dont like sam and phil together they only put them together as it fitted with other things

Nobody knows she's DI yet do they? Except Phil, Stuart, Neil and Jack. It would give the game away if she introduced herself as DI in front of Jo

I thought it said on the episode that aired on the Thursday before last that it would be announced in briefing the next day, which would have been Wednesday as we only get 2 episodes a week. Did anyone see it on Wednesday?

Yeah but on Wednesday when Neil asked her if she was ready to announce it she said she wanted to tell Phil and Stuart first. I don't remember her announcing it or referring to herself as DI during both episodes.
