Things were so bad that Todd was going to sell the car, but does not seem to have done so. Surely the first thing he would do is pay his workers not buy presents for Todd.

Yes, Todd is now filming what is going on, I think he has realised that Theo's behaviour is incorrect...

I think Theo meant that Billy Platt never lived and Summer was already a teenager when Todd came into her life so he has not really raised a child like he has so not a proper dad
