Alfie Moon arrives home after his secret trip to go in search of Zoe Slater

But he doesn't exactly get a warm welcome from his wife Kat Slater who now knows Alfie has been lying about his recent whereabouts...

Luckily for Alfie, she believes he's been off helping his young daughter, Cherry.

Alfie promises never to lie to Kat again.

But the truth about Kat's estranged daughter Zoe is a ticking time bomb... just waiting to go OFF!

More trouble comes Oscar Branning's way when he is confronted by Fat Mike again...

Things take a violent turn when Fat Mike lashes out.

Luckily, Oscar's copper Uncle Jack Branning quickly arrives on the scene to send Fat Mike and his mate Harrison packing.

However, Oscar's latest run-in with Fat Mike leaves him on edge.

That night, Oscar panics when he comes face-to-face with a hooded figure at No.25 and goes on the attack...

Harry Mitchell remains uncomfortable with Ravi Gulati using unsuspecting Kojo Asare's flat to hide his stash of illegal drugs.

Harry is on edge when Kojo's brother, George Knight visits the flat.

But her family loyalty leaves Lauren at odds with angry Peter...

It's been five months since Martin Fowler died in the wreckage of the explosion at the Queen Vic

So it's an emotional day for Martin's ex-wife, Stacey Slater, and their kids on what would have been Martin's next birthday.

Stacey recently discovered that she is the beneficiary of Martin's life insurance policy.

Which paid out a whopping ?100, 000!

But no amount of money is going to bring back the man Stacey loved.

However, there's the chance to remember Martin when family and friends gather in the Vic to celebrate his birthday.

Harry Mitchell is forced to agree to let drug dealer Okie conduct his illegal business from unsuspecting Kojo Asare's flat.

Harry needs a way to distract Kojo's brother, George Knight, from finding out what's happening.

So he enlists the help of his mum, Nicola, to keep George's attention over at Harry's Barn.

MEANWHILE, Yolande Trueman worries that her fella Patrick has started gambling in order to pay for her dream wedding!

But will Patrick listen when Yolande asks him to stop placing bets?

Patrick Trueman and his ex-wife, Yolande are engaged to get married again

The couple's official reunion has been a long time coming!

However, Yolande disapproves when she suspects Patrick has started gambling to try and pay for their dream wedding.

But despite Yolande warning Patrick to STOP placing bets, he is determined to continue in secret...

Patrick wins BIG on the races.

He convinces housemate Howie Danes to keep it a secret from Yolande.

However, when postman Howie realises he could do with some extra cash himself, he offers to help Patrick out by placing further bets on his behalf.

Which means that technically Patrick is going along with Yolande's wishes and no longer gambling!

Nicola Mitchell is worried about her oldest son Harry

Nicola witnessed what happened after a stash of illegal drugs recently disappeared from The Arches.

Nicola is now worried that garage mechanic Harry is getting in too deep with the WRONG kind of people.

But since he's now in debt to Ravi Gulati it looks like Harry has no choice but to carry on drug dealing for him...

EastEnders' Alfie Moon comes home to Walford next week and finds out that wife Kat Slater has taken over The Vic! But can he hide the truth about Zoe Slater for much longer?

Alfie is back from sneakily searching for Kat's estranged daughter Zoe in Barcelona, though the outcome of his rescue mission is being kept under wraps for now.

This week, viewers have seen Kat use Stacey Slater's money from Martin Fowler's life insurance to bid for the pub, with Linda Carter cancelling the auction at the last minute to accept her offer.

Kat wanted to keep this joyous secret from Alfie, especially considering the pair's history with the pub, so he will return home to a huge surprise.

But things aren't smooth sailing as Kat believes that Alfie has been with his young daughter Cherry, so rages at her husband for lying about his trip.

Feeling guilty, Alfie boldly promises Kat that he will never lie to her again, despite being well aware that he's harbouring a dark secret about Zoe and the sinister situation that she has found herself in?

"Alfie's web of lies just keeps growing," says our Walford insider. "As Kat found out herself, he was never with Spencer in Australia, but he certainly wasn't with little Cherry either.

"Stacey, who is in on the plan, was tempted to give Alfie the ?50,000 he needed to save Zoe from some very dangerous people. But Stacey opted to give the cash to Kat instead, so what does this mean for Alfie and Zoe?"

With Kat back in the iconic pub as the landlady, The Vic also hosts a special celebration next week, honouring Martin on what would have been his 40th birthday.

The Slaters turn up in force for the big day, while Martin's friends and neighbours ? including Zack Hudson, Eve Unwin and Denise Fox ? also make the effort to show their love for him.

"It?s a joyful, but heartbreaking scene," reveals our source, "as Martin should be celebrating his milestone birthday with his family. But Stacey has a smile on her face, and the occasion prove that the Slater clan are stronger than ever."

But now that Alfie is back on home turf and back in The Vic, will Kat edge closer to finding out that her daughter is in danger? And how far will Alfie go to ensure that Zoe is safe?

EastEnders' Oscar Branning makes a big mistake next week, when he accidentally attacks the wrong person.

As he is forced to confront his traumatic past, have his actions torn Lauren Branning and Peter Beale apart again?

"When Oscar arrived in Walford last week, it soon became clear that he was running from a dangerous fella called Mike," recaps our Walford insider. "The pair went joyriding together and Oscar was caught, but he gave the police Mike's name to try and reduce his sentence.

"Now Mike wants revenge, and Oscar is in serious trouble! He's tried to make a fresh start in Albert Square, but Mike's sinister text messages have left him terrified."

Mike's intimidation escalates in coming episodes, and next week Lauren discovers that he has been at the house threatening Oscar.

She suggests that Jack Branning gets involved to protect the teen from harm, but Oscar is determined to step up and manage the situation himself.

However, when he arranges a meeting, Mike and his mate Harrison turn violent and Jack is forced to intervene to save Oscar from danger.

On his final warning from Lauren, Oscar feels increasingly paranoid, and when he spies a hooded figure in the house at night, he takes action?

"Oscar goes on the attack and lashes out, thinking that Mike is still out to get him, but he doesn't realise that the mystery intruder is just Peter!" reveals our source. "Peter is furious about this incident and orders him to leave ? he's finally had enough of Oscar's antics."

The next day, Lauren wants to get to the bottom of Oscar's sudden outburst, and she ends up learning more about her little brother's time in the youth offenders' centre.

Lauren refuses to give up on Oscar and is determined to help him start over, but Peter isn't board with this plan. The pair end up in another row, and Lauren ends up going to Jimmy's first support group session without her other half.

Later in the week, Oscar gets into more trouble with Mike, his revenge plot not yet over. Will Oscar ever escape his enemy?
