Brody Michaelis goes to extreme measures to defend his dad i
There's drama for Brody Michaelis as he tenses while he listens to a message from his dad and later Kit returns home to find Brody smashing up his flat, revealing he’s spoken to his dad who has assured him he’s innocent and it’s a police stitch-up.
Kit calmly spells out to Brody that the evidence suggests otherwise, and Mick is a violent man.
Brody sees red and charges at Kit, sending him crashing into the wall, and when Sarah and Bernie arrive, Brody races out, a hoodie covering his face.
As they dash inside, what state will they find Kit in?
Debbie is put out when Ronnie introduces her to his old flame Fiona. He assures her that Fiona is nothing more than a friend and Debbie makes out she’s not bothered, but when her phone rings, she plays Ronnie at his own game and lets him think she’s got a new boyfriend.
Carl tells Ronnie that Debbie doesn’t want anything to do with him and from now on he’s barred from the hotel. Ronnie’s furious as the pair square up.
Eileen tells George and Brian that the drugs found in Julie’s system were the painkillers prescribed for her, not Julie.
When Brian makes an innocuous remark, Eileen snaps and bans him from attending the funeral. George feels out of his depth as he tries to comfort her.
Carla asks Lisa if she meant what she said about their future… but what will her reply be?

Sarah Platt is shocked when Kit admits that Brody might be his son
Lisa tells Kit that Bernie’s provided Brody with an alibi and a fuming Kit collars Bernie and points out he now has two options: either tell Lisa that he was mistaken or charge her with perverting the course of justice.
When Bernie reminds him that Brody is family, he is forced to admit to Sarah Platt that he slept with Lou and suspects Brody is his son.
How will she react?
Kit tells Brody he’s willing to withdraw the burglary charge if, in return, he stays out of trouble, as he wouldn’t want him to turn out like Mick. Will he agree?
Later, Brody confronts Bernie, wanting to know why she stuck her neck out for him and gave him an alibi. Will Bernie reveal all?
Meanwhile, Mick lies on the floor in his prison cell, having suffered a beating.
Maria tells Lou she’s fired. Having stormed out, Lou tells Gary that she’s sorry Mick gave him a beating, but she’s had plenty herself over the years.
After a couple of drinks, Gary can’t help but feel sorry for lou and buys her a drink. But how will Maria react when she walks in to find them together?
Fiona tells Ronnie she’s got a job for him which involves selling a stolen car. Ronnie shows the car to a potential buyer and gives his best sales pitch, but when the guy reveals his wife recently died, Ronnie is thrown and refuses to sell the car, leaving the guy bemused.
As Ronnie calls Fiona, making out he wasn’t interested, the door suddenly opens and Carl climbs in, demanding answers.
George confides in Todd that no matter how hard he tries, everything he does seems to annoy Eileen these days.
A downcast Theo reveals that his kids never showed up for breakfast as arranged and when Theo spies something on Todd’s phone, he’s left troubled.

Will Eileen accept George Shuttleworth’s proposal
As the mourners gather for Julie’s funeral, Eileen hands Brian a letter from Julie. Having read the letter, Brian confronts Eileen over Julie’s life insurance policy, pointing out that she’s the only beneficiary yet failed to mention it.
Eileen assures him that she knew nothing about it until after Julie’s death, but when Tracy implies that she orchestrated Julie’s death to get her hands on the money, Eileen is incensed. She then rails at George, blaming him for the fact Julie’s funeral is ruined.
In the pub, they play Julie’s dream game and when George tells Eileen that his dream is to marry her, she’s stunned and is saved from answering by the sudden arrival of Jason.
As George hovers awkwardly, awaiting her reaction, will he get the answer he wants?
When a man called Noah enters the pub and waves to Billy, Theo hurries out. When Theo reveals to Todd that Noah was present at his conversion therapy, Todd is appalled.
Elsewhere, Abi is annoyed to discover Kevin has given Carl a job at the garage. With Kevin and Abi out of the way, Carl calls Fiona and takes delivery of a dodgy car. What is he up to?
Kit tells Sarah that it’s Mick’s hearing today and he’s confident he’ll plead guilty. Lou visits Mick and is shocked at his injuries. He reveals that Kit organised the attack and spelt out that if he doesn’t plead guilty the next beating will be worse.
Lou returns from the hearing and tells Brody that his dad pleaded not guilty. Brody’s delighted and Lou hasn’t the heart to tell him there will be a price to pay.
When Ed shares a joke with Liam, Gary shoots him a warning look. Liam realises with horror that Gary has told Ed how Mick bullied him.

Cunning Coronation Street character Carl Webster gets up to no good at his brother's garage next week, as he begins a dodgy deal right under Kevin and Abi's noses.
Since arriving in Weatherfield, Carl's swooped in to play Mr Nice Guy, supporting Kevin through his cancer and secretly caring for Debbie Webster as she deals with dementia ? but has this all been an act?
As the mask slips and Carl's true colours emerge, Kevin might live to regret giving his little brother a job?
"Under the surface Carl has a real dark side," our Corrie source teases.
"He's a man out for everything he can get. First, it was his persistent pursuit of his brother's wife ? and now he's corrupting Kevin's business!"
In another nightmare week for Debbie, Carl steps up to play the hero and bans Ronnie Bailey from the hotel.
The drama kicks off after Ronnie introduces Debbie to his old flame, Fiona, leaving her seething with jealousy.
Although Debbie pretends she's not bothered as Ronnie insists that Fiona is just a friend, the glamorous hotelier answers the phone pretending she has a new lover ? before Carl kicks Ronnie out.
"Dumped by Debbie and riled by Carl, Ronnie agrees to a dodgy deal with Fiona," our insider explains.
"She wants him to sell a stolen car, and Ronnie agrees, using his best sales techniques to reel in an unwitting customer ? but snooping Carl overhears everything, and demands answers."
When Ronnie learns that his customer has recently gone through a tragedy, he pulls the sale and lies to Fiona, pretending the guy wasn't interested.
Seeing Ronnie's not cutthroat enough for this operation, what will bemused Carl do with this information?
Later in the week, Carl is made up when Kevin offers him a job at the garage. But Abi is furious with Kevin's decision, suspicious of her handsome brother-in-law. Will working together in close proximity be too much temptation as their attraction continues?
Left to his own devices, Carl calls Ronnie's dodgy ex, Fiona, and accepts a delivery of an illegal car to Kevin's garage. But what exactly is Carl up to?
"This is the start of a slippery slope for Carl," hints our source. "He's taking advantage of his brother by doing crooked jobs in the garage, and the people he's getting involved with won't stop at one job. This could be really dangerous for the Websters?"

Coronation Street villain Mick Michaelis gets a taste of his own medicine next week as he's beaten up in prison.
Mick is targeted while being held on remand following his string of crimes ? and it seems there's more to the incident than meets the eye?
The local thug looks set to face the consequences of his actions in the coming days, after cruelly terrorising the Weatherfield community since moving into Mawdsley Street earlier this year.
Next week, fans will see a helpless Mick lying on the floor of his prison cell after suffering a beating.
Back on the cobbles, Kit Green tells his girlfriend Sarah Barlow that Mick is due to face his plea hearing that day.
"Kit has been protecting Mick for weeks, but any misguided loyalty from the past now seems well and truly over," our Corrie source explains.
"The local detective assures Sarah that Mick is likely to plead guilty ? but why is he so confident of this?"
Lou visits Mick in prison and is shocked to see his injuries after the assault.
Mick explains that Kit masterminded the attack using his dodgy contacts. Lou is horrified to learn the full details, including how Kit has warned that if Mick doesn't plead guilty, the next beating will be even worse.
Defying the warning, though, Mick still chooses to drag things out by pleading not guilty.
"Back home, Lou shares the news with Brody, who believes Mick's innocence and is delighted that his dad is putting up a fight," our insider adds.
"Lou can't bring herself to tell Brody that there'll be a terrible price to pay for Mick's decision. Will Mick face further misery behind bars?"
Corrie fans saw Mick's reign of terror escalate in Monday's visit to Weatherfield, which explored his evil violence towards Lou for the first time.
The episode ended with Mick brutally attacking Craig Tinker and leaving him for dead, after the local copper had pulled him over for drink-driving in his van.
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Wednesday 28 May and Friday 30 May on ITV1 and ITVX.

Coronation Street's Lou Michaelis causes more chaos next week as she cosies up to married man Gary Windass.
Having escaped her violent husband Mick when he turned nasty over her past fling with Kit Green, Lou is ready to try to rebuild her life. Does that include trying to steal Maria Connor's man?
"Getting away from Mick was the right thing for Lou to do, but becoming a single mum and starting again will be difficult," our Corrie insider explains.
"But Lou certainly knows how to rub the Weatherfield locals up the wrong way, which means she won't make it easy for herself?"
Unable to tolerate Mick's temper any longer, Lou does a runner this week and leaves daughters Shanice and Joanie with the Metcalfes.
However, with Mick later put behind bars for assault, the coast clears for Lou to come home and resume her motherly duties.
Unfortunately, she's burned her bridges with Maria, who gives her the sack from her job at the salon.
Annoyed at suddenly becoming unemployed, Lou decides to drown her sorrows and heads to The Rovers.
Bumping into Gary, Lou apologises on her horrid husband's behalf for the beating he gave him, and explains that she was on the receiving end of Mick's violence for years.
While Gary has serious beef with the Michaelis clan, he can't help but feel sorry for Lou as she opens up about her abusive marriage. Ever the gent, Gary offers to buy her a drink ? and with impeccable timing, Maria walks in?
"If looks could kill, Maria would be up for murder," our source adds. "She thought she'd seen the last of Lou, now here she is enjoying a bevvy with her fella. If Lou's not careful, that drink could end up poured over her head?"
Panicky Gary has to quickly calm the frosty atmosphere between the ladies, and desperately tries to stop the situation escalating.
Empathising with his wife's ex-employee, will he ask Maria to give Lou a break considering everything she's been through? And does Lou actually have her eye on Gary?
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Wednesday 28 May on ITV1 and ITVX.
