I have a feeling she may get off on some charges if not all. I still feel officer Ian Beaker has a bigger part to play in a possible escape bid. Surely they will want to drag a bit more drama out before this story ends.
I reckon that Ian might well be in a spot of bother

Neither did the jury. I bet they were wondering why it took them so long to find her guilty.

How come it took the armed response team that long to get to the courtyard?
A childish script right to the end, well I hope that was the end.

That has to be the worst episode ever of Emmerdale. Female prisoner brought to Court by a male officer - who was going to search her? Just her pet prison officer in court - no police - no security. NO SENSE

Meena escapes from the Dock into what is supposed to be a custody area which was strangely deserted. The Pantomime Police give her a ten minute head start before pursuing her, Followed the trail she had left.

Absolute total anticlimax. Where were the CID officers who investigated her crime. One would have expected at least one of them to be present for the trial and certainly the verdict. Total keek

I blame 'Jeff' he failed to cover all exists from the court.

Why are people still talking to the treacherous self serving Al ?

Why does Belle think that she needs to give Al half her business ?

Anyone here find the "Court Room Terror" scenes of "Violent Threat and Distress" upsetting? Surely they meant to say "Funny". As a comedy "Carry on Courtroom" really hit the mark. So many contrived situations. Did the court really wait for Liam and co to get back before reading the verdicts? Why did Manpreet not escape from the dock when Meena let go of her and turned away? Why were the armed police so far behind in the chase? Did Ian lock the door to the courtyard after after they went out?

Completely agree so many unanswered questions. but I partly thought it would end somehow like that, with Meena blurting everything out, after all it is Emmerdale, and the police acted as normal, probably had a break and a sandwich on the way down to find Meena
