It is compulsory in every soap trial for someone to kick off in the gallery causing the judge to warn them and then kick them out.

We have had a 3 murders trial lasting 3/4 days of edited highlights. None of barristers seem to be assisted by 'juniors'

We have had Meena smirking throughout.

It might just be me but it always seemed that Meena was absent or late for work. Wendy never seemed to notice this.

Criminal trials in soapland are always a farce...

Very True. I should know better by now.

I think when you are asked a question in the witness box you are simply supposed to answer the question and nothing more. But in Soap trials we constantly see witnesses going on to explain or justify their answers, often going on the making long rambling speeches. Just would not happen.

The judge was a bit theatrical when he threw Leyla out.

Altho she did not plead insanity, she did claim she was suffering from mental health problems, due to being unaware of what she was doing. Which, to my mind, raises the question of whether she is fit to go on trial.

I think she only said that as an excuse ...

She probably did, but now the question has been raised, surely she should be assessed now, otherwise it could be grounds for an appeal later if she is found guilty.

I have a feeling she may get off on some charges if not all. I still feel officer Ian Beaker has a bigger part to play in a possible escape bid. Surely they will want to drag a bit more drama out before this story ends.

Meena needs to be killed off to prevent any possible return.
Her prison guard doesn't look to be a full shilling, maybe he will kill her if he finds she's been playing him.
