Surely now that Meena has spoken to the police, the CPS would have doubts about proceeding with charges against Liv. Even if they still thought that Liv was responsible for murdering Ben, they would realize that Meena's testimony would be enough to put doubt in the minds of the jurors and that it is unlikely they would get a guilty verdict on her. I would have thought that at least Liv would be released on bail while they try to find more evidence against her, then Vinny could stop running around over acting and telling everyone she didn't do it.

Liv has already faced a jury and has been found guilty. The murder was counted as detected as soon as Liv was charged.

It's no longer a decision for the Police. It's up to Liv's solicitors ( I assume she has one as we never see them) to launch an appeal.

Very true but you can still get legal aid for serious cases.

I must have blinked and missed that bit. - I thought she was still on remand. - Did she plead guilty? - Soap justice is super quick.

I am now doubting myself. I was sure there had been a trial.

Shows how riveting this story had been when some of us are not sure if Liv has been on trial or not.
