MacKenzie, only arrived in Emmerdale recently from Scotland, and yet he already knows Hotdog and does deals with him? Aaron who has had business dealings with Connor in the past needs MacKenzie to find him, instead of just getting on the phone and telling Connor he needs to see him? I am more and more disliking MacKenzie, most of the time he seems half asleep, as if he has just got out of bed. I am assuming we are supposed to find him cool and sexy. They seem to think what we need is another good looking "bad boy" instead of someone who can act and carry a story.

He may not be violent but he is very very hateable.

I know Paul literally puts the boot into Vinny during attacks but he also uses his fists .. should he not have bruises or maybe cuts for others to see ?

I think this is mostly a myth created by TV, knuckles will only cut or bruise if used to hit hard bony parts of the body, like the skull. As I recall Paul hits Vinny to the body. Vinny's clothes will also protect Paul's knuckles.

Lawrence Robb is very good in the role of MacKenzie. I did smile at the scenes with Aaron and Mack in the field when that copper turned up. I like the way he manages to wind Aaron up with his teasing. I also liked the scenes with Brenda and Faith in the Cafe/tea room.

The rest of the show is annoying with Harriet and what is the point of Rishi? I tire of the Home Farm Kim stuff. Dallas on a low budget. Emmerdale need to concentrate on their strengths. Looking forward to next week.
