Are we to assume that the telephone call from the hospital to Ashley was regarding Edna.
Did anyone know she was in hospital, no one ever enquired over her so she has not been missed.

Did Edna still have dog, so long since I've seen her I can't remember.

Was she not visiting her sister Lily?

I assumed Harriet would be in contact as her niece and living in her house

Edna's passing didn't move me in any way,as she's been gone for such a long time and as said in other comments, she wasn't mentioned at all by anyone before this..??? Too long was wasted talking about Edna's last moments..they should have gone to pub to tell everyone.
