    Chloe is off to France even though she has no obvious income. How lucky that she already had a passport for Reuben.

    you'd think after the accident chloe would be nervous driving especially with reuben maybe ptsd, we know they'll be back and poor cain no peace to watch the telly

    I do not think she needs a visa but she would only be allowed to stay for 30 days, leave and then go back to France for another 30 days... according to the Schengen Agreement ... I live in Spain and a lot of my friends now have to leave after 3 months to not overstay their welcome , a lot of them travel by car through France.. but they do not need a visa.

    I think you can stay in France for 90 days without a visa, you need an extended stay visa after that. But I am not sure if you can apply for the extended stay visa while you are in France, probably best to apply before you go there. Since It did not seem that Chloe intended to return to the UK, especially as she has little money and would not be allowed to work, without a work permit, best to sort it out in advance. Knowing how awkward the French can be I imagine it would be quite difficult to just go there and hope for the best. Anyway if she returned to the UK, she would probably be picked up at border control now that Mack has reported her to the police.
